What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!
ParappaTheRappa is probably the only PS1 game I would ever buy. Speaking of, I'm surprised they haven't remade it yet considering other rhythm based games sell like crack
I had a lot of trouble playing Bust a Groove on my PS3, beyond the fact that I suck, I blame it on the bluetooth/tv response time lag. Maybe they don't transition well?

I disagree, I think Parappa's aged more than well. The songs are still amazing, the gameplay is still easy to play hard to master and it's just a feel good game. I bought it for $30 on PSP and I miss it since I sold my PSP. Would bay it day one.

UnJammer Lammy on the other hand, is a hard game that I, who was able to get "Cool" rankings on almost all the stages in Parappa can't even beat the first level :(

Worms overpriced? Never.

I'll probably get it since the last few times it's been a huge ordeal to get Worms World Party to actually work.

To get totally off topic, how was Monster Madness? I briefly remember the demo but was hoping for a ZAMN feel to it.

So are the maps for R2 for co-op mode? Cause that's all I'm interested in.

Oh, and what ever happened to the zombie board game that was supposed to come to the PS3?

That game is called "Zombies!!!" and I don't think any more info has been detailed besides its announcement.

Just MP. The patch adds a new difficulty for co-op and there are new ribbons and medals for it, too.

Repetitive but it doesn't get better than 4 person local coop. Plus it had upgrading weapons and whatnot. Oh yeah and the single player challenges were fun as a "pass the controller" party game.

Its really just another hack and slash Gauntlet Legends type game but with little kids and odd weapons.

It's not that (despite what TMK says). Bluetooth/TV has nothing to do with it. The rhythm is just off in Bust a Groove. You can confirm this by going in the options menu. You can watch the game go off beat all by itself. It's actually worse than a delay/lag because you could compensate for that (if you were crazy/determined enough). But the rhythm shifts in and out of phase, making the game impossible to play. It's an emulation or audio/video sync issue that has never been fixed.

I've heard that the PSP Parappa is harder to play than the original and that it seems off rhythm-wise, too. I have a clearance copy that I haven't played yet.

I have Parappa PSP and laughed as my lady friend couldn't beat a single level.

"Let me show you how it's done!" I said as I snatched the PSP away from here.
Eh, I could see Burn Zombie Burn getting boring pretty fast, not enough variety at all.
I couldn't agree more! Definitely a candidate for their $4.99 sale promotion PSN frequently has.
Parappa must have gotten old and lost his sense of rhythm
Parappa never had rhythm to begin with.

I noticed that as well. It pissed me off.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009...-fat-princess-red-faction-and-the-art-of-psn/

Another free issue of Qore is coming tomorrow, though Annual Subscribers get a Red Faction demo, Linger in Shadows, and a Fat Princess theme. New subscribers also get High Velocity Bowling with it, as well.

I can see the paid stuff being kept with subscribers, but why not give the demo to everyone to encourage more people to try out the free issue?

For some reason demos always come with a premium on the Playstation 3.

The whole point of a demo is to get people excited for something, so then they are willing to put some cash down on pre-ordering it or whatever. I don't get it.

Like when the game is out?

Still doesn't make sense to me from a marketing perspective. Publishers looooove pre-orders, and demos can help facilitate getting more of them. And like Tanuki said, in this instance get more people to check out Qore and then perhaps get more subscribers in return.

Anyway, I have no interest in Red Faction, just expressing my annoyance with this recent trend of having to put money down for a demo.

The demos that have been in Qore before have all come out a few weeks later before the game's out, except for Flock, but that's because it has been delayed a few months after they originally planned for it.

What full games have been given out in the past year for Qore Subscribers? I know of HVB, Linger in Shadows, and one of the Pixel Junk games right? Anything else?

I'm debating about buying a subscription now for the free HVB and LiS.

Ehh... Not bad... I think I'm definitely buying a sub then... Of course... this year they won't give out jack.

Here's a rough list till sony releases the list:

Comet Crash
Killzone 2 Play the Ad thing
Killzone 2 Ad video
New Funk character for PAIN
