I cant believe they are charging $15 for Flock next week. Anyone play the demo and see why it is not $10?
That game is going to be $15? I wouldn't even pay $5 for it.

Ah, ok I'll say it...what the FLOCK?!?

Sorry, had to get that outta my system.
No, they're trying to tempt you into subscribing. What would be the point if they give it to you for nothing?
I figured so, but it would probably work better if they did, plus the way it states: "only subscribtion's" makes even those who'd purchase a single episode skip it.. (even there hmmm, competitor gives a game away now and then.)
You've got to be kidding me. The Cardinals and White Sox themes are out but still no Cubs. Must be saving the best for last... ;)
Maybe they're going in order of last time they won the World Series? ;)

I noticed that the menu of Fat Princess is offensive. If you don't believe me, check it out.

It says
Play with Yourself

Yeah, probably the best episode yet from what I've read.
I'll watch it tonight.

I hear the artist for Fat Princess (Audrey Cleo?) is pretty cute.

You mean not everyone in the gaming industry looks like Gabe Newell? :whistle2:#

I might actually download Qore this week.. though I still don't know what it offers that I can't read online.

It's an anniversary of a week where we didn't get a PSX Title released.

To celebrate, they will continue the annual tradition.

My predictions for this week:
Flock (a/k/a the "here's some dumb shit you won't buy - but WAIT! THERE'S BLANKA! now you SFIV brand-lovin' chowderheads have to buy it!" game)
Flock demo
Riddick demo

Rock Band/GHWT songs

MLB themes
Some more bullshit themes like Rag Doll Kung Fu or somethin'
Some video trailers for something we don't give a flyin' fuck about

If both Flock and Rag Doll come out today I would consider it a good update personally. I agree they can stop with the lame ass trailers though. Or at least put them in the Video store

I usually get all the videos myself.
Trailers that is.

60GB worth of game trailers from PSN. Had to take them all off and put them on BD-Rs.

To take another route from what smiggity said, we get weekly fuck-all in content compared with XBLA.

What were the titles and release dates of the last 5 PSN demos of retail (not PSN) games?
Because its more garbage to sift through when you want to get to the actual content
Oh, boo hoo. It takes seconds to get past the videos to the themes and wallpaper. That just has to wreck your day when you think of all those videos you have to skip. It's not like there's a place where they show you just certain types of content.

April 9 - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
March 26 - Dynasty Warriors Strike Force
March 12 - C&C Red Alert 3
March 5 - Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena
March 5 - Wheelman
March 5 - WWE Legends of Wrestlemania

XBL's last demo was Guitar Hero Metallica nearly two weeks ago. Maybe they got Sonic's UGC today, but I know that GHM's the last thing they've gotten since I've been waiting for a new demo to try out something.

Yeah myke, don't understand what you mean there.
XBL has pretty much the same thing aside from GH:M.

This week, I'll pass on everything, maybe Rag Doll Kung Fu in the future, if there's an online patch.

The problem is that clutter kills online stores. So if they got rid of all their junk "filler content" it would be easier to find things and easier to buy things.
Or maybe just put the real stuff on the front page. If you want the "filler" stuff you have to click on the tabs to the left side.
I want to know the numbers those premium themes actually sell :p
I don't know about numbers, but I've seen the Dark Night themes appear in the top 10 downloads for a few weeks when they first came out. I doubt that they sell much, but it can't cost that much to make a theme for PSN.

Comet Crash didn't even make the Top 20 downloads list for last week, which sucks since it's a good game. Burn Zombie Burn and Worms made it to the top three though.

I stand corrected on the demos.

Doesn't change my opinion that the PS Store is an unorganized shitshow, where it's a crapshoot as to what PSN games we're getting until the minute it's released (unless the developer tells us so ahead of time).

And the whole PSOne thing, of course. It's fuckin' ridiculous, man. Makes, dare I say it (dare! dare!) Earthbound not coming to the Wii VC pale in comparison to missed opportunities.

The PS Store sucks a dick.

I always think of premium themes as ring tones. They'll charge you for both but if you search long enough, you'll come across tools that allow you to do-it-yourself to your own liking and for free.

On that note, I'm actually surprised that a premium theme ended up in the top DL's.#-o

Why do people get so heated about what is available in the stores? or XBLA? Is it really that much of a pain to deal with that it causes pain and agony. I don't disagree that the PSN store needs to be streamlined a little better, but not enough that I am going to start losing any sleep over it. I try to not plan on any content and then just am happy with whatever is offered. I also seriously doubt that the PS store sucks any dicks, maybe, but I am gonna need proof before I start to spread that rumor.
