What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

There are some interesting things on the Top Downloads list for the first week on October:

The Pitt, Operation: Anchorage, and Broken Steel take the top three spots in that order.

Final Fantasy VII comes in at #5, just ahead of Gran Turismo PSP at #6. Final Fantasy Tactics took the #13 spot, just ahead of God of War: Chains of Olympus at #14. So GT and God of War are the two best-selling PSP games for the Go's launch.

Uno made it to #8 on the list and the LBP Dynamic theme reached the #20 spot.

Tomb Raider is the new Spec Ops. At least they're releasing PSOne titles consistently now.

I want to support them by purchasing a PSP title, but for the money they're charging, I can't do that in good conscience.

I can buy Savage Moon or Pixel Junk Monsters for $10 on PS3 with trophies and everything they offer, or I can spend $20 on PSP PJM. I'm very willing to bet that Savage Moon PSP will be $20 as well.

Are they better than playing "Defender Chronicles" on my iPhone? You bet - by a long shot. But Defender Chronicles cost me 99¢. Guess who got paid and who didn't? Apple and Sony, respectively. The prices are fucking ridiculous beyond comprehension. There's a reason there are only 2 PSP titles are in the top 20 PSP sales.

Stay greedy, Sony, and then wonder why the store shelves are collecting dust where the PSP Go sits.
 
I kind of want to get Harvest Moon... But I still haven't finished that first one for the GBA.

iirc, PJM: Deluxe includes both the original game and expansion as well as some extra content(And I think it has online play as well). So $20 seems like a reasonable price for the game...
 
Did you not get anything that was on sale? That seemed like the perfect opportunity to support them by grabbing the cheap games.

You know that PJM Deluxe has quite a bit more content on the PSP for just $4 more, right?
 
And while I agree there should be parity between the PSN PS3 price and the PSN PSP/PSPgo price, honestly, you don't want those games to go down the road of that .99 iPhone dreck.

That's what Minis are for, but the developers are using the ESRB as a crutch to allow them to charge more for them.

Except that #2 offered them for $5 two weeks ago and you're purposefully ignoring that so you can complain about the high prices now.

Whats the deal with the PSP gamesharing? Other than the fact that it's annoying, it can be done right?
 
All these excuses for why stuff is BS_ Especially the one regarding ESRB do you really think SCEA is so concerned with there reputation when they sell what amounts to 'Soft Porn' under the radar as 'themes & wallpaper' they are sure keeping those items fairly cheap to allow anyone to save there 'lunch money' to get the latest 'vampire viven theme for those new PSPgo's'

They just want to get more profits. period
 
I see that the EU store got a discount for COD WAW Map Pack 1. I'm almost 100% sure I know the answer, but would it be possible to download it and play it with a US copy of the game (I'm guessing not).

Thanks- let's just hope the US store follows suit.

Check your local Target if you're interested in a hard copy. It should be on clearance for $13.98 or less.

I don't know how many time's I've posted this lol, but GoW:CoO is only $5 at TRU & could very well still be in stock and it is only $13.71 with FSS at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/God-War-Chain..._4?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1255996635&sr=8-4

I was really hoping Oddworld 1 & 2 would be $6.99. They have held up well over time I believe, so that could be one reason. But I don't know if I'll buy them if they're $3 more each.

We’ve talked about it and would like to do it. We have seriously considered using the Stranger engine to do just this. Some work being done on the tech now. Will see how it goes, but will have to come after our current project.

Unlikely that they would continue in the same format of sidescroller. But we’re far from done with Oddworld. Just taking us awhile to get back to it and we’ve currently got a an extremely full schedule with the new stuff.

The complete series will only be on PC in 2010. Munch and Stranger have not yet been on PC. We’re investigating bringing them over to the PS3. TBD.

I've logged in through my PSP Go, as far as the PS3...probably since Infamous came out. I usually turn it on to watch a movie and It doesn't log me on since I have yet to do the last 2 or 3 updates :oops:.
