What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

Poor 3do. They had no idea that Sony was about to drop a hydrogen bomb on the videogame world.

Someday I need to get one if only to round out my collection of failed 90s consoles. That and Return Fire is supposed to be awesome.

Dude...

WAY OF THE WARRIOR!

I played the living crap out of this game when i had my 3d0, it was so awesome, and introduced me to White Zombie music which is really good till now.

Also, 3d0 had one of the worst controllers of ALL TIME! Imagine doing great in this game on that horrific thing.

Speaking of 3do games, my favorite was Icebreaker:

I played that game soooo much! I think my parents still have our old 3do system. I should try to snatch it from them.

The top downloads for October, from Pulse:

1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Zombie Apocalypse
3. TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled
4. .deTuned
5. Uno
6. Gran Turismo PSP
7. Marvel vs. Capcom 2
8. Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty
9. Critter Crunch
10. God of War: Chains of Olympus
Sad to see Critter Crunch so low. Such a fine game for $7.
I checked out the demo and plan on getting it soon.

The multiplayer aspect is a huge factor in me getting it.

I find it whimsical =)

I lost on the first level of Military Madness. CPU Tank went on its own base and took out all my units, the defense boost was so unfair :(

I remember this game, funny how it was one of Naughty Dog's first titles released. I wanted those games and Lucienne's Quest, NFS, Jurrasic Park, Fifa, Road Rash, Crash N Burn, etc. I still regret not buying it when it went on clearance.

These are the current free episodes in the video store:

Fullmetal Alchemist - Season 2, Episode 1
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon - Season 1, Episode 6, Highlights
Metalocalypse - Season 2, Episode 19
I Want to Work for Diddy - Season 2, Episode 1

I know this is probably an overly objective question , but would anyone like to tell me whether it's worth it to subscribe to Qore?

I know that $25 for a years worth of "digital magazines" isn't any worse than any current print mags , I'm just not sure if it's really worth the money. Doesn't it occasionally come with exclusive content or something?

$22 for DLC for a game that came out Tuesday?

fuck that noise. I'll buy a used copy of the game when it's $15. Publishers and developers are selling us incomplete games for $60, and I'm not interested in supporting those kinds of practices. The funny thing is they could simply delay the release of this stuff 4-6 weeks and lose all the ire I have for it.

At least one of them comes with the game, so buying it used means you'd definitely have to spend more on that if you don't get lucky that the previous owner ignored it.

I need to check what part specifically, but I think its the second level, there is a "boulder drop" thing, and it seems like they want you to push it across a very narrow plank. I cant move it down the plank, and trying to advance with just the vehicle doesnt work either..I know there is something simple I am overlooking
Is there a gap in the path for the boulder? There are planks on your side that you grab and move over so it can get through.
Thanks a lot Frisky...I was frustrated that I got stuck that early..I was missing a elevator (windmill?) thing which opened up the path you spoke of. Much appreciated.

On another note, I like this game. Its decent and has free DLC, which I haven't tried yet. The story is pretty childish though

Trine might be fun single player, but it was brutally frustrating with 2 players. Loved the art, and story telling though. I may have bought this to play with g/f but I have enough of a backlog (Batman/Borderlands), I ain't paying $20 to play single player game... Braid may change that.

fuck Jonathan Blow in his pretentious ass.

He'll rag on World of Warcraft then shit out a game that lasts for a few hours for $15. fucking hypocrite.

The Stone prisoner DLC comes with a new copy of the game game. Which as I said in the GGT would be a rip off if you had to pay for it. I finish it in less then 20 minutes. Even consiring the new Voice work and items for Shale I would feel ripped off... But at least Shale is decent character. But the Warden Keep DLC is kind of nice for $7. My only compliant is that it's the only way to get a storage box that should have been in the main game.

I really regret buying Braid. It was good but it was over so fast and has absolutely no replayability. I played it, beat it in a few hours, and never touched it again. Some of the secrets are almost impossible to find without using a guide or sitting and trying to figure something out for way too long.

If I had more free time I would do a little study.

Here's the premise. What was the average price for an XBLA title before Braid? What was the average price after Braid?

In addition to his game being mediocre, he helped set a precedent that I really hate.

Still, I love RR and don't really want to fight about it.

I'm not at all against you Halo05, I just think Blow anger is silly ^_^

But yeah, the $15.00 stuff messed things up. He had good reasons why he did it for that price, but other XBLA devs took it as an excuse to raise prices.

Maybe, maybe not. The fact that Europe got it gave me more hope than I had like a week ago.

Sweet, down for C&C Red Alert. Nothing like being frustrated at early console RTS controls.

That Dropkick Murphys song makes me wish I had Rock Band on PSP.

You should check the out the video of this theme before buying. Even if it was free, I wouldn't use it.

Hey guys, I need some advice on PSN cards.

I want to get Dark Mist and 2 PS1 games Einhander and Rakugaki Showtime.

I want to get the English version of Dark Mist, and of course the 2 PS1 games will be from the JPN store.

Here's my dilemma, I know that Dark Mist is available in English in the UK, Austrian, and HK stores. PSN cards from the UK are ONLY in denominations of 20 and 50 pounds respectively. I'd like to get a 100 dollar card for the HK store, since the game and its add-on are only around 88 HK "space bucks". And I didn't want too much wasted money sitting on that card if I never buy anything from there again. Which is why I don't really want to go for a 200 HK card.

Second problem is this, what is the best denomination for Japanese yen on PSN cards? I know the PS1 games I want are 600 yen a piece, so a 1000 yen card won't suffice. I can live without Einhander, since I already have the US/JPN versions, but I wanted to be able to play it more conveniently (I just really want to see the picture galleries that I haven't seen on my JPN version yet, which are different then the US version) and to be able to play it easier on my system.

The same thing with my copy of Rakugaki Showtime, I have a physical version, I just want to actually be able to play it easier than breaking out the PS1 and all that hassle of setting it up to play it. (Plus my PAR doesn't work anymore as it is, so unless I go emulator on PC, I can't play it on a console, and I'd like to play multiplayer sometime)

I know a 3000 yen card would be the best option, but I didn't want to spend that much at the moment. (Can't really think of 5 PS1 games I want off of their store anyway)

So anybody who has or who does buy from either or both stores have any suggestions?

What might be the best places to buy without getting ripped off? (So far the going rate is about $5 over cost on JPN PS1 1000 yen cards, or $16 for approx. a $10 card)

Ditto for the 200 HK cards (same price), since I can't find any 100 or 150 HK cards available anywhere to buy (which is what I'd prefer or a 5 pound UK card, which is unfortunately not available to buy).

I looked at Playasia, Ebay (US/UK) National Console Support, and I'm kinda outta options. Anybody have any extra points they'd be willing to sell at a fair price?

that theme is pretty damn lame compared to some of the other ones which oddly enough were free. not sure how they can justify charging for that one it should be free or at least free for those who bought the game.
