What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!
Hamsterball? AVATARS?

Well slap my ass and call me Susan. What a DEAL! What a STEAL! It's like we should be charged with robbery, we're getting so much from Sony!
This is pretty much how I feel.

Insulted.

The only thing PS+ has brought to the table thats worth noting....is Stacking

It says that at the bottom of the email so I would assume you don't have to subscribe through the link.
thx for the info

I wish someone could have actually explained the Red faction battleground voucher code deal better specially that i asked before and still wanted it and now its over.

That MSRP game of 59.99 that's more then a subscription of PSN+ off the bat i think red faction is 59.99 anyway.

That be like giving away Mod nation racers or mass effect2 full games with subscription to PSN + can't beat that as there full retail games.

The free game in that offer is Red Faction: Battlegrounds, a $10 downloadable vehicular combat game. The offer was not for a free $60 game (Red Faction: Armageddon).

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/04/03/the-drop-week-of-april-4th-2011-new-releases/

The Drop for this week:
PlayStation Network

Red Faction: Battlegrounds — Set in the Red Faction universe, Red Faction: Battlegrounds is a fast-paced multiplayer-focused vehicular combat game in which fast-attack vehicles, heavy tanks and combat walkers wreak havoc above ground and beneath the surface of Mars.

Stardrone (PSN Download) — Designed especially for PlayStation Move Motion Controller, StarDrone is a perfect blend of high-speed physics and pinball action, with strategic elements of break-out and object collection. But this is no walk amongst the stars, as the Drone is always in motion in the zero gravity environment, and the more stellar matter collected, the faster it travels until it is careening across the screen at light speed. Gather enough momentum and enter into Comet Rush where the Drone is impervious to all enemies and obstacles. Explore the level to find key power-ups and earn more points that will ultimately let you compete against the world on the StarDrone leader board.

PSN Demos

SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs Multiplayer Beta
Rush'N Attack: Ex-Patriothttp://blog.us.playstation.com/tag/rushn-attack-ex-patriot/
Red Faction: Battlegrounds

minis

Fish Tank — Collect groups of different coloured fish together to make them disappear and earn stacks of points. Look out for nine power-ups to help you collect the colourful fish and earn over 70 medals. Play through 24 levels in three difficulty modes and see if you can get rid of all the pond life.

PlayStation Portable

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (PSN Download) — LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars includes all the characters from both seasons of the hugely popular animated television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as some fan-favourite characters from the beloved theatrical Star Wars Saga. The game features brand new battle modes, giving players unique, head-to-head combat and an upgraded level builder, allowing the creation of customized bases and in-game battlefields.
The Drop for this week:
When are they going to update?

The only place I've seen the SOCOM 4 beta is in the PS+ section.... (and of course for free on the Japanese version of the PSN Store were I downloaded nearly a week ago.)

They've also added another charity to donate to (Japan Society) for Japan Relief in the Aid Japan section of the PS Store. It offers a new theme that has a bunny in a moonlit meadow.
I have not got one yet...starting to get nervous.
Havent gotten it either...fingers crossed...neon theme not free like it says on PSBlog

For the voucher, do I have to set my notification preerences to checked for both to receive it or no? Why couldn't they just send a pm with the voucher attached or just put it on the PSN+ page...
I have not got one yet...starting to get nervous.
Nothing here either, but I'm not concerned even if I don't get it. It'll be yet another game that I won't play for months.

I'm confused, didn't Mass Effect 2 not come out until 2011 on PS3? Even if it was put out early in December it would seem strange that it would rack up 7th place in less than a month of being available.
If you got the email about the RFB offer and signed up on time, then you shouldn't have any issues getting the code.
Was this only available for those who signed up recently before the 25th? Becauase in my case, I've had PSN+ since last year...

Yeah, it was an introductory offer for those that signed up between 3/19 and 3/25, not every PS+ member. That's why they sent out codes to those of us that qualified rather than put it up on the store for everybody.

Oops! I asked this earlier in the thread, and was lead to believe that anyone who had a PSN Plus membership and received the e-mail notice would indeed receive the code to download the game for free.

It's because of this that I did not renew for an additional 15 months (now it's down to 12 months for a renewal). I guess I got screwed twice! :hot:

This week was quite unappealing. I'm still save scumming my way through that first Sonic game. (Sonic seems to move slow compared to modern games. Also, does this game have no continues?)
motorstorm apocolaypse demo is back up on the eu psn store.
Ahh! Thanks for pointing this out, i'd been looking for this. Tried it last night and it was alright. It's pretty (and the 3D was pretty good), but I'm not sure.

It felt like motorstorm- but the vehicles seemed to take a bit more damage before crashing. The "natural disaster" style stuff in the demo was underwhelming in comparison to Split/Second, and half of the time the event resulted in me slamming into a wall because the camera moves to show you what happens (it's optional, but i kept hitting it).

I beleive it did not have any continues and only extra lives to earn. Also, I dont remember it having a save feature so you had to play through in one sitting. I could be wrong on that though. It was 20 years ago after all!

I was talking about the re-relase for PSN. The one on PSN doesnt seem to have a continue feature but does have a save/load you can use. Unfortunately it seems you have to go bak to the main menu by death or quitting in order to load. So bascially I'm just saving every 20 steps.
