What's the best way to try and/or buy Guild Wars?

For the longest time I've wanted to try Guild Wars and have been reading up as much as I can find on the various versions (Nightfall, etc.), to determine which one might best appeal to me.

But I'm running into a brick wall as far as getting a trial key or some other way to check the game out in advance or to get a killer deal on purchasing.

What are the ins and outs? Does anyone have a recommendation for a CAG trying to get into this game?

I'm almost positive you can buy a two-week trial DVD for the trilogy from Gamestop for a few bucks. I know they're at Fry's.

Yeah, I went to one Gamestop yesterday and they said they were out of the disks. So I was hoping I could get a trial code from somewhere online.
