What's the deal with Burning Crusade Collector's Edition?

I picked up a sealed copy of this pretty cheap recently hoping to offload it, but it appears as though there is no market for it. This is confusing to me, I thought this game was in huge demand and that the CE only had specific pets and whatnot that you couldn't get anywhere else. Should I just dump this thing or hold onto it for a while?
 
I'd say that pretty much everyone who wanted TBC already has it. Even people just starting in WoW probably bought it so they could play as the Belves.
 
It stopped being profitable selling those within the first couple hours of it being released. I had forgot it was released, but was able to find one after work that day. By then Ebay prices were around retail and to my knowledge have never gone back up.
 
Now that the game is in a "mature" stage, the demand has softened. It doesn't help that this expansion is more for the hardcore raiders and end-gamers which would make up a smaller portion of the player base.

As mentioned, everyone who really wanted one got theirs already.

Did Blizzard make more of these than the original CE? I don't know.
