please explain to me how the chat works. Do youhave to be 30-100 feet from each other? And on the website it says you can use a LAN? Im not too tech-savvy on that matter, can someone please explain this to me?
at the moment, you can be within around 100 ft., and chat with no problem (even has a cell-phone like signal gauge). Lan and Internet type stuff is not up and running, yet. There are some things going on in the mod community, but nothing official
I'd be so happy if they did some clever stuff with Animal Crossings, like having two levels of travel.. one from the town on your DS to the local lan, and then another one to a "major city" which would be hosted in the internet.
nintendo is supposed to have some kind of gigantic announcment a week or two before the PSP comes out......lots of people are thinking that they might announce that Online gmaing is going to be developed, which would be huge to their sales, and it would cut down PSP's sales because people who were waiting for PSP will say "Screw PSP, ONLINE GAMING!" I just hope it doesn't cost anything......which im sure it will............
yeah, that'd be cool. Im considering buying one with all the cash I got but with only a few games worth owning out im seeing if the online will make it worth having. Animal Crosing would make a great online game. With the touch screen itd be great if we could get some FPS on the DS. (Come on Counter-Strike!) maybe an abdridged CS or something. And Picto Chat online would be like AIM or someting.

They should have some awesome FPS games coming out soon. I'm hoping some Tom Clancy games will come out. I need some Rainbow Six.
Nintendo has the guys who did WarpPipe do the DS Online stuff.
I can't wait for the DS online stuff. Animal Crossing Online, Metroid Prime Hunters Online, Mario Kart Online, Pokemon Online.[/quote]
The guy from that site, Matt I think his name is, said that he has no idea what Nintendo's announcement is, and that it has nothing to do with warp-pipe.
