Whats the Worst XBOX 360 Game?

I have 12 Xbox 360 games and surprisingly the one that I feel is the worst is Madden 06 followed closely by Perfect Dark Zero.

Quake 4 hands down for me, other games have some big flaws IMo, but I can't really fathom any kind of excuse for that game being as poorly executed as it was especially when other PC ports (see Call of Duty 2) turned out just great.

I throw in with FIFA 06. Ugh, disaster. I'd also throw in with Tiger Woods. Thank you for game rentals.

Quake II? C'mon, you're going to say a FREE game that came as a bonus is the worst 360 game? PUHLEASE

I think Quake IV is the most unfairly maligned game on the 360. I've loved it. I just hate the fact that no one plays it online and it has like 1/3rd of the maps of DC's Quake III.

NBA Live was pretty poor when compared to NBA 2K6. The gameplay is SO much better for 2K series.

I've liked the rest of the games....played about 10-12 games thus far. Didn't like FIFA either...not a BIG soccer fan though.

I think some people don't like Gun/NBA 2K/Tony Hawk because they don't look Next Gen, but they still are GOOD games, if you ignore that.

I've only played Madden and Live out of the EA sports titles and would have to give them a tie for the worst game(s). I'm pretty sure that all the sports titles suck due to certain aspects being cut out of the game. It kind of brings a smile to my face because EA isn't the cream of the crop anymore. Don't get me wrong I love what EA has done for the industry, but when it comes to sports titles they're arrogant and feel no one can beat them. If you can't take competition, why did you get in the biz.

Madden, NBA Live, and FIFA.

Played the Demos for all of them and just did not like them at all.

I played the NFSMW demo and went out and bought it the next day.
The Marketplace sure is great!

I didn't know we were going off how much they cost. Either way, that shit sucked.

Everybody is way too shiny and I don't feel like I'm killing anybody. I don't know, the game just isn't any good especially when I could just play Halo 2. I exchanged it for NBA 2K6 (the coaches and fans don't look next-gen, but I'll be damned if you think the players aren't next-gen).

Wow, a lot of Quake 4 haters here. Amazingly, that's one of the three 360 games I've actually beaten, and it's no short game. However, I do have plenty of complaints: long loading, slowdown, crummy multiplayer, etc.

NBA Live is by far the worst game on the system. It ruined or removed anything redeemable about Live 06: no franchise mode, the camera angles suck, freethrow shooting is awful, and the play is bad. When the load screen is the best part of a game, you know it's trouble.

Of the other EA Sports games (not NFS:MW), I've only played Tiger -- which is also a lot worse than other versions of 06. Which is in turn worse than 05 or 04, IMHO. No desire to play FIFA or Madden.

That I've played? Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. It is a god awful piece of crap that looks like ass. The only part of the game that is remotely worth playing is the classic mode, which is a whole whopping six stages long. As to the OP's opinion though-I've only played the nba live 06 demo, but the camera angles were so bad, I have no intention of playing the full version.

Edit: To comment on other peoples' postings... Personally I loved Gun. Sure the graphics could have been better, but it's the best thing I've played on the system yet other than NFS:MW. FIFA is inexcusable. The gameplay isn't the worst, but cutting that much from the game and charging more for it is something only EA would think was a good idea. And I haven't actually played Quake IV yet, so my opinion may change on what the worst one is. And fuck you, Joust rules. And for fuck's sake, they even updated the graphics for, I believe, the first time in 24 years. And PDZ is not unplayable, it's just crap. I bought it (based on gamespot's 9.0, what horseshit) and NFS:MW on day 1. In that almost two months, I have played though a grand total of two stages and enjoyed maybe, MAYBE three minutes of it. Just a lousy game. If you are including live arcade games, bankshot billiards might get my vote. Just a downright bad game with no redeaming qualities other than it has lots of different modes in which to showcase its suck.
What do you guys think the worst 360 game is right now?

So far out off all the games i played NBA Live 2006 wins by far.
NBA Live 2006 is actually my favorite game for the system...

pdz single player is borrrring. Quake 4 might be worse though...I liked it the first time when it was called Doom 3 and didn't have slowdown.

Buy the system but don't buy Quake 4 or the EA sports titles.

Is PDZ singleplayer really that stinky? That was probably the one game I was going to get, even if CoD2 is all that and a bag of chips, I've already been through it on the PC and would feel dumb buying it for the 360 "just because."

Call of Duty 2 is exactly like the PC so there isn't much point in getting it again. PDZ isn't that bad really, its worth playing through once but there isn't anything very spectacular about it.

Well from all I've played, the fifa demo was horrible but I never purchased the whole game.
Out of all the games I bought, I had more fun with NHL2k6 then PD0. Not to say PD0 is a bad game, It's just too damn slow for my tastes. Halo had the right sense of speed where as PD0 just took the cake for the slowest FPS I've played in years.

Quake IV frame rate isn't great but the gameplay is still there, maybe they will patch it someday?

While I only played the demo for these...

I'd give the crown to Quake 4 and a close second to Madden. Complete and total ass.
Project Gotham 3 and Condemned. Bought them pre-played at Gamestop, so I was able to return them and get my money back.

whats wrong with tiger woods? I have never purchased a tiger woods games, but was interested in getting this and play it online with a friend of mine.

well, not meaning to troll (i mean, my favorite game from my favorite series developed by my favorite team is on it- doa4), but in my honest opinion, it's not worth it right now. the games, the problems with the system, the inevitable better deal with a pack in game and possibly a bigger hard drive, etc. all go against the purchase of it.

It just needs time to mature is all i'm saying.

Problems with system = overblown. Every new piece of hardware has a failure rate of around 3-5%. This happened with PlayStation, PS2, Xbox, etc. If people didn't buy a system because they were afraid of getting a dud...well, we'd all be doing a lot more book reading. But I digress...

I agree. I LOVE my 360 and am happy I purchased it, but honestly, it needs time and more games before it becomes a "must buy" for most people.

From what I've played, Most Wanted, Kameo, Amped 3, Project Gotham 3, and Call of Duty 2 are all GREAT games and worth getting a 360 for. But there isn't one or two must have games on the system yet that will sell consoles by themselves. And there probably won't be until at least next Christmas.

I'm impressed with the ratio of "good" to "shit" games, in regard to the 360 launch. One of the most impressive and tightest software launches that I can recollect.

of course, it looks worse than it is and MS is doing a good job of handling it (and are probably losing a buttload of $$$ as a result) but a revised system is probably on it's way. The option to wait for the sure-shot system with a packed in game for cheaper and a larger library of games to choose from is undeniably there and very tempting.

So far I've played:
- Call of Duty 2 (awesome)
- Perfect Dark Zero (decent...but seems like your run-of-the-mill FPS)
- Madden (which, aside from the "cinema shots" looks like ass and plays like crap)
- NBA (the EA one; this was alright but the gameplay wasn't anything special)

I think that's it... I've had my heart set out on getting a PS3 since day one. I own a 'cube, a 'box and a PS2. Not trying to troll (etc) but I do think that the 360 has sucked so far.. My buddy waited in line all night and spent $550 on the premium bundle + an extra controller + a warrenty... but I think he really regretted it.
