was this pressed in extremely limited quantities? i have never seen it for cheap, anywhere. you could pretty easily find 1 or 2 for $19.99 or less, but the third one continues to be full price everywhere (even for used copies on ebay.) not to mention many stores seem not to carry it at all... has anyone seen this game for a decent price?

Get Fatal Frame 2 if you can. The 3rd is plagued with some camera issues that definitely dont warrant a $30+ pricetag.
 
Can you really find the first one cheap? Or are you talking specifically about the xbox version? The PS2 version seems rare (if you have it, trade with me or something).
 
I saw it yesterday actually at AAFES for $40, though I have never seen it before then.

Syngamer: What price would it be good to pick it up at? I loved the 2nd one.
 
thanks, i already have 1 and 2 and was looking forward to the 3rd although comments like that make me glad i chose not to pay full price.

i'm pretty sure Fry's blew out all of their stock of Fatal Frame 1 and 2 a while back at 19.99, but i'm not 100% positive if they were PS2 or XBOX (or both)

I don't know what you're talking about, it's pretty much the same as Fatal Frame 1 and 2 on PS2. There is no First Person Mode like FF2 on Xbox though. I thought FF3 was fantastic.
