Not sure if I can limit it to just 3 so I'll try to put them in some sort of order of preference

1) Assassin's Creed 3- shocked how different this one looked than the past games. I knew I would play any new additions to the franchise, but I am really excited for this one.
2) The Last of Us - Was a bit afraid this would be a game long escort mission. Looks like a really raw version of Uncharted.
3) Watch Dogs - Love the idea behind this one. The shown game play looked pretty awesome.
4) Beyond - Loved Heavy Rain. If I knew this had a bit more in the way of game play it would probably be higher on the list.
5) God of War: Ascension - These games are always fun. It looked even more polished than GoW3 did.
6) Tomb Raider - Uncharted stole from it, and now it returns the favor. Looked fun.
7) RE6 - Finally moving and shooting? Yes please!

I missed any info about Sleeping Dogs. Based on what I just looked up, I am sure I would like it too. I guess I like Action/Adventure games :)
God of war ascension
THe Last of Us
Splinter Cell (I think that it's comingtomps3 too)
i think its 360 only

edit its ps3 too but i was talking more on Ps3 only games

1. Last of Us
2. Beyond: Two Souls
3. Wonderbook... LOL no. Assassin's Creed 3.
4. GoW Ascension

I'm still kinda wait-and-see on the new Tomb Raider and Revengence, and I'm not sure about watch_dogs because I know there's going to be a significant drop between the PC version (which my PC won't even be able to start) and the console versions.

Last of Us saved Sony's E3. Beyond was definitely second. It's a hard toss up for third though. GoW, AC3, RE6, and TR reboot all looked good.

Wonderbook needs to be stopped before Sony loses more money...

1.) The Last of Us
2.) Watch Dogs
3.) Assassin's Creed 3
4.) PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale
5.) Beyond
6.) God of War Ascension
7.) Tomb Raider

I didn't see anything at E3 that got me excited, a lot of stuff I don't play (AC3, Tomb Raider, GoW), and everything else looked Meh. RE6 is a slight possibility, but haven't played a RE game since Nemesis on the Dreamcast.

Seems like the returning favorites are games I can't understand why people like.

metal gear rising
assasins creed 3
sly 4 thives in time
beyond
Not much to get excited about i already have a huge library of games. Only games i would buy this year are gta 5 and possibly borderlands 2.

Because games like AC are very fun? And if The Last of Us didn't get you excited then I must question if you even like video games.

What kind of games do you like then? Not into any action or adventure games apparently. Do you only play RPGs and puzzle games?

In that case then I'd pick Little Big Planet karting.... I'm hoping that game is good.

Well Resident Evil 6 fits into the action and/or adventure games genre @_@

The Last Guardian
GTA 5
Bioshock Infinite
Beyond Good and Evil 2

Oh wait...

Not really excited for Last of Us to be honest. The zombie apocalypse type setting has been done so many fucking times.

To answer the OP seriously:

Tomb Raider
PlayStation All-Stars (Meleeee!!)

*Note I stuck to exclusives

1) Last Guardian - might not be there, but was there in spirit
2) Beyond - even without gameplay, I am intrigued. Ellen Page Legit.
3) Unfinished Swan
4) Last of Us - steals ideas from others, but it is still Naughty Dog so it should be a fun play. Ellen Page Faux.

There's a hundred or more things I'm super picky about that might turn me off a game....

I do like some of the action RPG's (Oblivion, Skyrim, Dragons Dogma, Torchlight), other faves are GTA4, Saints Row, Fallout3 & New Vegas. I kinda liked the Force Unleashed games too, but again kinda got sick of them mid playthrough. Normally not a fan of FPS like Modern Warfare, etc, except for Halo games, but offline only.

I still have Gears of War 1 & 2 and Assassins Creed 1 sitting unplayed here cuz I couldn't get into them. Bioshock 1 & 2 really did nothing for me either. Borderlands was so-so. I found Mass Effect 1 & 2 a chore to play after a while.

After more consideration the only 2012 games I kinda want are Fall of Cybertron and Halo 4, but again War for Cybertron didn't wow me since it played like Gears of War, and I'm kinda sick of Halo. I still have to actually read a review of RE6 to decide wether I'd like it or not.

Watch Dogs just really looked boring, and The Last of Us, I just really don't care for games where you have a child tagging along, or really anyone tagging along. Even in Skyrim I usually leave the hirelings at home. And in most cases I can't stand shooters in 3rd person, even GTA4 gives me a headache after a while. GTA5...I already played Vice City ten years ago, not sure I want to play it again.

So that's why there was really nothing great at E3, for me anyway.

I thought 5 was in San Andreas because in the trailer the camera flies past a Vinewood sign.

Thought I saw chicks in bikini's, must have just assumed it was vice city...

This. 1000x this. Then again, that could be said about most of the games coming out, which are reboots or sequels or whatever. How about something truly fucking original for once?

Then again, I shouldn't talk since I'm playing Just Cause 2 like crazy as of late and the only other game from my backlog I've touched in a while is GTA IV Complete. But after being really wowed after playing JC2 so extensively finally GTA 5 is gonna have to include custom soundtracks, a video recording function and a ton of other shit to make me give a damn when it releases.:whistle2:#

Very lackluster E3, I give it a letter grade of "C".

I don't think it's fair to discredit a game simply because you don't like the setting or the enemies. I mean, you're excited for GTA V but really, all GTA games have the same basic premise since GTA3... only with better graphics, new mini-games, and new setting. They haven't been drastically different. I get that some things might seem played out but as long as there's something new/unique, then I say the game deserves a chance.

But what I think really makes LoU stand out is that fact that it's actually seems like it's about survival (even has a live inventory system), more so than the original RE games were, and relies on some sense of realism. I really like that this game takes place a long time after the zombie apocalypse (most games just put you in a setting where it just happened or is happening) and I also love the idea that you're traveling with a semi-useful kid who's never known about the world before the outbreak.

Again, this premise itself isn't new either (since it's been done in movies/shows) but for once, you'll be in control of the character. And sure, the game will likely be linear and whatnot, but even then, you'll have some leeway as to how you survive.

It is all about survival. People really need to stop saying 'zombies' when they talk about this game, even the developer, Naughty Dog, is telling people to not think of the 'fungus-infected people' as zombies. I don't know how you can't be excited after watching the E3 demo of the game (especially that part when that guy reacts when you have no bullets in your gun and Ellie throws the brick). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZYkj0glnqs&feature=related It looks to be a completely different type of survival game. Also here's a quote from TheVerge about another side of the demo they got to sit in on: 'And perhaps, most interesting to me was that, for a game about fungus-infected humans ("don't think of them as zombies" we were told) we didn't see a single one in this demonstration. "To us, we think it's the humanity that's gonna make this game interesting. Not monsters." Naughty Dog, you've got our attention.' http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/7/3071389/the-last-of-us-isnt-about-monsters-but-humanity Just because a setting like the apocalypse has been done many times before doesn't mean it should be judged based solely on that.

I think we'd get along.

1. Unfinsihed Swan - Yep, some little $15 title was what wowed me the most. To me, it will be like another game I adore, Journey, in that it looks so damn beautiful and distinct.
2. The Last of Us - When I saw the video I thought "meh", but gameplay converted me. Look at the subtle animations, the interactions and strategies and the impressive AI and you have my attention.
3. Ni No Kuni - This game is ridiculously gorgeous and every time I see it I am dumb founded why cell shading fell out of style (seems like it to me anyways) right when it can pull this off. Very happy to see this come to North America.
4. Beyond: Two Souls - The big AAA surprise that really has me curious as follow up to the excellent, and admittedly flawed, Heavy Rain.
5. Assassin's Creed III - Each time I think my interest in these series is waning they manage to do something to get me back, this time it was forest parkour looking so fun.

*Last Guardian would have been there (as it was for years) but I can not get that excited until I play it in November...of 2013...I hope. :whistle2:#
