I appreciate the ads, as well as the bounty for 1st place on snake, and if you dont feel like posting ads, then stop, why would u do something that takes that long if you dont want to do it. People will get their ads someplace else.

But they suck in comparison to what? Suck doesn't carry much weight unless you have a reasonable standard to hold everyone to.

Not true. A comparison would only quantify the amount of suck. For example, Miracle Whip sucks regardless if I compare it to regular mayo.

Everyone here sucks regardless of the standard I'd choose, they'd just suck more or less depending on the control group.

Everyone does not suck. Everyone HERE sucks though. Except Wlau. So I guess in comparison to Wlau, everyone really sucks.

I don't dislike or hate anyone here at CAG, and I don't know whether anyone dislikes or hates me. All I know is that I still enjoy coming here and talking with my friends about stuff, and occasionally catching a great deal. There are so many wonderful people here, and it would be a shame to see anyone go. You know what? I know that there are a handful of longtimers here with rough edges, but I don't think they means they should leave. Every community can't be perfect, and those people are just as important as the beloved members. There are people at the top and the bottom of every society, and if you remove a certain element, the community will just crumble anyway.

It won't bother me if someone here dislikes me, although I hope that no one does have ill feelings towards me. I try to be a nice guy all around, because that's who and what I am. Besides, we catch enough crap in our "real lives" that we don't need anyone else treating us like garbage in an online community like CAG.

This is an interesting topic. Has anyone made a CAG member praise topic, where we talk about our friends and favorite members. That would be pretty cool.

And don't forget you always come to post how 1337 you are. The reason the "regulars forum" as you so kindly put it, was and is a bad idea because there was no good way to handle it. You and many others wanted it to be just a select invitation only type forum. Dumb idea and it was beat to death in the topic that was an offspring of your cry for me topic. Read here just don't bump it, if you do it will just get locked!

I personally don't think everyone on this site sucks. CAG is one of the only mainstream video game forums that are more then just a bunch of teenagers angsting (not sure if that is a word?). I love this site I don't buy many games only a select few a year but I find most of my deals on CAG and if I find one myself I will pass the word.

I was going to add MightySlacker to the list before he made his point for me. MS you are not lost just loose the MightySlacker > everyone else attitude.

I am still upset that a bunch of pansies scared DDF off but that is a topic for another day.

You should have posted a link to that instead - it definately wasn't that and I made it that point. PDS made a xerox of that thread however, which might fall in that category. I made my point and left for a few months. If I was attention whore, there would have been a "OMG IM BACK BOW DOWN" thread - and there wasn't - I just updated my trade thread and went along my business.

Actually I never did read that thread. The reason for never reading the "goodbye and thanks for all the..." threads is because 52% of the time it is a bitch fest. (If I wanted to hear bitching I would talk to the old lady.) The other 48% it is a cry for help or wanting attention. I am not sure what you said or what others said in the thread, all I know is it turned out to become a bitch fest in the 1337 thread.

There are, like, two people on this site who even know who I am, so hopefully nobody hates me as of now. There's nobody on this site I truly dislike, and on the whole I think the members of CAG are all pretty decent people. Some people are always going to be dicks, but ultimately I feel as though this is one of the stronger online communities that I've seen.

How did I know it would be Scorch? IMO, Scorch has the biggest ego of anyone on this site. While alot of his posts are useful and insightful, some are not. Sure, I have a big ego, who cares? Its not due to the 'employee/customer' thread, it has to do with my personality. If you don't like it, block me. I really don't care, won't hurt my feelings.

But Scorch, I honestly have no real qualms wth you. I think *most* of your threads/replied are a great addition to the site, and help maintain a certain standard to the site.

As per the Slidecage thing, Ive done the 'AOL translator' all of 2 times (if even that), and yes, I DID work for Game Crazy, incase you didn't know. :)

The fact is, with summer now upon us, every 12 year old has access to the internet while mommy and daddy are away, and we get retarded threads that either A. make no sense at all, B. we get reposts of deals that happened weeks before, C. we get dozens of new threads a day where the answers have already been talked about (EB Vouchers for instance). I really wish CheapyD would have a few more Mods. around during the summer when this seems to pop up the most. The LAST thing I want this place to turn into is GameFaqs.

As per right now, the only real members that bug me are electric toy (has he dissapeared?), Quackzilla (For his Sony Praise and bashing everything else he can), and Slide Cage for his...well....talent?

How do I have a "big ego".. if anything, i'm the target here. I have to help mods out because they don't do their jobs (with the reposts and stuff). I'm not sure how that's "having a big ego". Having several posts that are "not useful and insightful" is not the same as having a big ego, but it is the same as me being a dumbass.

I have no issues with you either. I think I just posted while I was in the middle of a verbal fight with someone. While I think my issue is justified, it doesn't bother me enough to put you on an ignore list. But I find it funny how you say I have a huge ego and have useless posts then say i'm a great addition to the site.

So, in short, ignore that post.
 
This thread can still be put on track, so everybody just get over themselves. To be a BIT more on topic, the regulars forum is a utopian idea. If it did exist, it would turn into who controls the forum. It would be high school-level bickering at it's most basic form. This one single THREAD is barely holding together, and it's been compromised mostly of posts by CAG mainstays. That venture has been put to rest, and for good reason. On another note, the only poster I would ever hate to see leave is epobirs. Every post I have ever read by him has been worthwhile.
 
I'm kinda surprised I wasn't added to some "hate" lists.

Lately, it seems, I've been pretty heated towards EZB, MrBadExample, and Myke. I'm not trying to, it's just that what they say drives me nuts. The past few days I've backed off, but my fingers are itching to retort. It's taken me almost a year to feel comfortable enough to outwardly disagree with someone here on CAG.

I hope my persona isn't tarnished because I feel passionately for one side of the government. It doesn't change the fact that I'm here to get a good deal on video games.

I second that. Epobirs is always posting incredibly interesting information and seems to be one of the only people on this site who truly knows what they're talking about concerning the gaming industry.

I just wish we could get that guy an avatar. I think it should be an old wizard. Either an old wizard or a pink frog.

I totally agree. I think this is a greatly diverse community (albeit, we're all fans of video games ;) ). I can't think of too many other sites such as this with as many mature participants as CAG.

Also, I don't think anyone can top being the worst troll than Spriggan240 and antonio (who's very existence on CAG seemed to vanish...).
