When are different colored consoles available?

No definitive date yet, but it is thought they will arrive by the end of the year. If so, expect them between October and November for release, just in time for the holidays.

However, it is still "rumored" at this point, but I put that in quotes since this is something Nintendo normally will do.
 
Usually when console sales are steading... different colors always boost the sales of Nintendo's handhelds and I'm sure they've had the same effect on consoles as well.
 
I'm trying to resist buying a Wii until black is available. White is fine, but black matches my other consoles better, except for SNES and Dreamcast.
