When are PSN cards coming to canada

go to money mart
ask for a prepaid credit card for X amount of dollars
use credit card on ps store
profit but not really

should work pal :)

Dear god don't give money to Money Mart. Those loan shark shops are scum bags. Don't support them.

You can get pre-paid Mastercards at Shoppers. I'm pretty sure they have a $3 extortion fee, too, but at least it's the lesser of two evils.

Jeez, just go to Shoppers and buy a MasterCard Gift Credit Card. They range from $25-200 in regards to denominations. They sell 'em at 7-11, too. I don't think those PSN cards are going to appear anywhere here in Canada any time soon. Those cards work in a pinch. I buy them all the time.

The answer is simple: Sony doesn't want your money and loves being in the deep red. :p

Not so simple answer: Who the Shaq Fu knows.

erm, im not familiur with credit cards or things like that.... so two questions.

1. do you have to be 18 to get it?
2. what kind of documents/info/parants sig/ do i need?

and 3. what should i buy with it? ;P

Either you apply for a credit card yourself or get a prepaid one at stores, theres also one from vancity.

I'll answer your questions unlike everyone else.

1. NO
2. NOTHING
3. Cash, Debit or even a credit card.

Its not a pre-paid mastercard that your buying at Shopper's. Its a Vanilla Mastercard GIFT CARD. It fully works as I do use them on PSN.

the other day I saw Xbox live points cards at the drug store, next to the itunes and long distance call cards.

Sony really needs to wake up and get things going. Their customers arent only 30 to 40 year old males anymore...

This is another blunder that you can attribute in some way to the Sony marketing team (if there is actually one)

This is probably the only problem with using real money instead of space dollars. They have to roll out cards in every single currency... so it's probably not worth it to set up Canadian dollar cards for them.

Yeah, I bought one a long while back, but still haven't used it. I see them all the time at $25, $50, and $100 values.
