When is it worth getting a new Gaming Laptop?

I am right now using my Asus Rog 750JH laptop it is about 2 years old. I love it, it is exactly what I wanted from a gaming laptop. But I was wondering when should I replace it with a newer gaming laptop?

Since this is a high end laptop I am unsure how long lifetime it has. Since the newer laptop I seen have just been a minor upgrade of hardware. Anyone got any suggestions when I should upgrade to a newer modell?

Note, I travel a lot that is why I have a gaming laptop :)

 
You should think about upgrading when your current laptop can no longer handle the games you want to play. If it can still run new games coming out then I wouldn't worry about it. Is it handling everything ok?
