DOes anyone actualy buy these 'owning a car pricetag deals'???

Is there a big market for millionaire kids with lazy parents that would be interested in these??

Ok. I think I have enought trade-in games to make this happen.....I'll start making a pile and get back to you....in about 5 years.

When people start using the search function of this board instead of constantly reposting topics the "madness gonan end".

Hopefully after the next generation of consoles, when microsoft gets out of the video game business after realizing they can't compete with Nintendo and Sony.

Nice blanket statement. This has nothing to do with this thread.

I'm sure we'll see another "deal" like this when the PS3 comes out.

And, btw, what's wrong with competition to Nintendo and Sony? People in the industry laughed when the original PS1 came out and said they'd never make it. If I had enough time in the day I'd own all three systems. They all have great games that I'd like to play, but for now I love my Xbox. :booty:

Yeah cause Microsoft and the xbox are doing so much worse than both of them . And its not like Microsoft called up Gamestop and said, "Hey guys, could you throw together a crazy expensive bundle that includes our system, a bunch of games, and a flat screen tv and call it the omega bundle. We're really hoping to piss off the people that cant afford it."

This thread is shite
That may not be such a horrendous deal if you're in the market for a new tv since a 42" plasma is part of the package.
but a plasma can be had for $1500 or less on sale nowadays.

It's just wishful thinking on my part. ;) I know there will be bundles like this w/ the other systems. I just don't think MS has brought anything substantial to the table. There are very few exclusive games worth playing. They're still losing money with the XBOX and I figure if they continue to lose with the 360 that we'll see them exit the industry.

The price difference between the Omega bundle and the Omega+Dell bundle is equal to the retail price of the plasma. They're not giving you any discount.

Is the Dell 42' plasma a good TV? I was just wondering if you were going to shell out 5k for this, that TV better do a good job showing off your 360 games.
