When to show up for Black Friday (for Resident Evil 5 at Best Buy)

I'm going to Best Buy for Resident Evil 5 for $20, It isn't a doorbuster special. It's opens at 5am so what time should I show?

That's what I was thinking, They have tons of new doorbuster games (L4D2 and many others) and this is a older game. I'll show up at 4am.

No dude, you dont even have to get up that early, most of the people will be rushing for tvs and computers, a half year old game will be the least of their worries.

that game is on sale through Sunday I beleve. Amazon should match or just do best buy.com with in store pickup. I also don't think this will sell out at all.

It will really depend on your location but order it on bestbuy.com with instore pickup to make it easy. That way you can pick it up Monday or Tuesday after all the craziness dies down. I was in my local store yesterday and they had about 10 copies out for the 360.

Im in line at Best Buy in Meriden, CT as I type this on my IPhone. I got here right after work a little before 2am, and there were already 70-80 people in line. It's freezing cold and raining and I must be nuts, but I enjoy the craziness anyway. You shouldnt have any trouble finding RE5 this weekend.

Wal-Mart is price matching all BF deals that are printed in ads. So if all else fails, see if Wal-Mart has a copy.

re5 has little chance of selling out, just get there whenever. if all else fails, visit gamecrazy.. it's been 19.99 new for a month or two now!

It wasn't bad by me till about 11pm or so when the wind kicked up and then it started to drizzle(and later on rain). If I hadn't volunteered to take turns holding a spot for my one buddies' sister so she could get a laptop for her one kid I would've never been out in that slop.

But a promise is a promise, though towards the end of the night I just hunkered down in my car n kept warm while she hid under her umbrella.

My buddy and I left her in the line around 3:40 am when they were handing out the tickets to get the laptop. Then I was finally able to come home and get warm and toasty.

I just got home, and got just about everything I wanted. The $179 Laptop was gone before I got to get a ticket, so I settled for the Netbook instead. Pretty much once I got in, I grabbed all the Blu Rays I wanted, then got in line to pick up my computer. This should have been a quick and simple process, but no, they were literally taking each person in line one at a time up to the register to pick up their computer, give them the whole spiel about warranties, anti-virus software, etc. and then ringing them up, all this while there were at least 150 people in this one line. I should have gotten out of there by 5:30, and been back home and in bed by 6, but nope, only now do I finally get a chance for some sleep.
