When was the last time you paid full price for a game?

Today, I reached deep and payed the full $5 price for Fallout 1&2 combo at Fry's. First time I hadn't bought cheap used or used an online code/coupon in quite some time.

In a few days, I'm buying that same combo and another I saw that has Planescape: Torment and something else. Damn fine deals, even if they are 'full' price.

Last week I ordered Pop N Music 8 for PS2 for $65 plus shipping. It's an import so I didn't have much of a choice since I wanted the game and tried to find it on Ebay but no one had it for sale for weeks.

Other than import games, the last time I payed full price for a game was Mario Kard Double Dash in November.

Just paid full price for La Pucelle Tactics the other day. Worth every penny. Also recently paid full price for Fatal Frame II and Onimusha 3, but returned both due to guilt of paying full price. Actually both Onimusha 3 twice now and returned it, lol. Gotta hold out for some kinda sale!
isn't paid spelled paid?

i'm not sure that anyone on here knows that

I haven't really paid full price for a game in a long, long time. Probably since I was buying PS1 games back around 2000 or so.

sheesh i feel bad for you guys who paid $50 for la pucelle, it was just $35 at fry's. I will probably bite the bullet and pay full price for disgaea when it gets rereleased next week.

I paid full price for Viewtiful Joe, LOTR Return of the King, PGR2, Crimson Skies, Rebel Strike, Mario Double Dash, and Ninja Gaiden. All but Crimson Skies, PGR2, and Viewtiful were around when the games first came out.

I bought NHL 2k3 for DC for $35 w/ BB gamer coupon and got a certian movie triology game with enter the _______ as the name for $44.** at Sams since that's their regular price other than that one time being desperate for a new game. never, i never spend full price, it's a pure waste and if you just buy games on sale/clearance you aren't missing anything. the only time i'll make the exception is Halo 2. $55 on realease day. but i got a gift card for $50+tax. so it's only preorder out of my pocket, then a few cents.

$50 for Super Monkey Ball 2 - because I needed it right then, damnit.

Before that it was Shenmue (DC), since I needed to get it signed by Yu Suzuki.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! -But my dad bought that as a xmas gift so I'd have to say the last time I payed full price for a game was... I believe in 02 when The Thing (PS2) came out. I heard good things, and despite the fact that it dropped to $10 4 months later, it was still better than the other game I was going to get: Turok Evolution

Normally I don't pay full price, I either trade in other games for them, get used versions, or wait for a sale, unless its a WWE game. I have to admit, Vinnie mac totally owns me :(

Ninja Gaiden, I got that game on the first day it came out because I wanted it that badly, it was the first game i actually put a deposit on. Oh-yeah

Disgaea at TRU. Worth every damn cent in my opinion. Before that FF:CC, then LoZ:WW, and before that Skies of Arcadia Legends for GC. Everything else is either used or purchesed after trade ins to make it cheaper.

last one was Vice City, next one? San Andreas ... it does come out before Halo2 right? .. if not then Halo 2 will be the next
I pre-ordered Wind Waker in order to get the free Ocarina of Time / Master Quest disk.
Bingo. I did the same at TRU but there was some other bonus material and I was using credit generated from my TRU Visa credit card. By the time all was said and done I didn't feel I had shelled out anything like a normal game SRP. The OOT variant that had only been previously released in Japan was well worth a few bucks alone.

Last 2 games i paid full price for were Rogue Squadron and Zelda ocarina of time for the N64, i bought both when they first came out and both were well worth it.

Well, This is semi-oldschool. I paid 74 or so bucks for my reserved copy of Final Fantasy VIII (PS1), pretty much last time I bought a full price game. I've watched myself, and since joining CAG I've barely paid more than 25-30 for one. Thanks CheapyD!

In the 25 years since my first game purchase I've bought fewer than 15 for full SRP. Some of those early games were on cassettes in a zip lock bag but they were good deals at the time. Star Raiders for the Atari 800 on a whopping 8 kilobyte cartridge for $20 was a steal in 1980.

THe majority of my SRP purchases were games that accompanied my launch day purchase of a new console after pack-ins ceased to be standard. Mario 64, Sonic Adventure, Panzer Dragoon, Summoner, Halo, Super Monkey Ball...
