Where are all the Wiimotes?

So, where the hell can I get another Wiimote or two?

I've been trying all the stores around here and checking online daily... Even went to the source - nintendo.com - and ordered a set. The nunchuck came in two days, and the wiimote is backordered.

Oh, and I'm not paying $70 on Ebay!!
 
My local Target had about a dozen of each when I stopped there tonight. (wiimote, nunchuck, classic)
Maybe Target just got another shipment?
 
Yea, Wii remotes were a b!tch to find today. Went to BB, CC, EG, GB, and TRU...they did not have anything, except TRU had the classic controller and the nunchucks. Then went to the local Targer and there they were...well, there was only 3, but I just need one. They didn't have any nunchucks tho, but I got what I wanted so its all good.
 
isn't wiiplay supposed to come with an extra remote and nunchuk? if so, i'll just wait for that to come out instead of buying one now. (which i have seen ZERO of in my local stores)

It comes with a remote only, not a nunchuk.
 
Play only comes with just another remote I believe, not a set. I was at Target earlier and they at least 7 remotes. I was hoping they had nunchuks though cause as of now my ratio is 1 nunchuk to 3 remotes. Classics are harder to find that I thought too. I dropped by TRU and they had like 3 hanging on the shelves and a couple came in super excited to get one. Seems like I always see a bunch of one controller but never all of them together.

I'm at 4 Wiimotes to 1 Nunchuck (the one that came with the Wii of course). I've seen the classic one everywhere I go though :cry:!
 
Every time I've been in my TRU they've had a couple dozen Wiimotes, a dozen Nunchucks and a dozen classic controllers. BUT EVERY other store I hit all I see are empty shelves. Not sure if TRU gets more or people just don't think to hit there, but that is my story.

I have no problems finding any of them. ;)
 
I found my extras at FYE....so if you've got one of those nearby to you, give it a check. It's not a place most people would think to check...
 
Toys R Us Times Square had floor bins of everything, classics, wiimotes, and nunchucks; everywhere else, barren shelves.
 
I see all of these controllers at every store I go to. The only thing I havent seen anywhere is the actual Wii console.
 
I was at BB yesterday to pick up Elebits (denied) and saw, to my astonishment, they had around 6 or 7 Wiimotes. They usually have absolutely nothing for the Wii.
 
Its spurts.. I found 8 wii's yesterday and pciked up two for the family members.. Its great that they are buying it... So far thats umy Wife and I, my cousin, best friend, aunt/uncle (and kids), Mother & Father In Law, and now my Mom and little sister....

Most the time the remotes are all sold out but I have on two seperate occasions walked in and found piles of them. Gone within hours but they were there.
 
I usually see 1 store with both wiimotes and nunchuks when I make my rounds. I have the wiimotes and nunchuks but no wii!! gahh
 
Yea, just for laughs - I checked no less than 6 retailers in my area: BB, TRU, Target, EB, Gamestop... NONE in stock, and no clue when they will be getting any.

Nope... demand is just through the dang roof on these. I didn't get my extra controllers for three full weeks after launch, and it wasn't really for lack of shipments... they were coming in all over town sporadically, just selling out before I could get there.

And people bitched so much when retailers held product... I would love for someone to hold product so at least I know 100% everything I want is at one store.

Bad enough when I find the system now I won't be able to find any controllers :(
 
Target was the place to be two days ago for me. I went around 5 PM and they had just stocked the shelves. More Wii Remotes and Nunchucks and Classic Controllers than I have ever seen (and actually the first time I've seen these things sealed in person). So, I bought two sets and a Classic Controllers. I only really needed one set, but I decided to buy a second one which I returned the next morning. I checked the electronics section to find only three Classic Controllers left.

Wish I had the money to buy 3 complete sets, but not right now.
