Where are people buying faceplates?

Hi,
Recently I have seen a bunch of faceplates for Xbox 360 in lowballs and I was looking for places that I can buy them new. I looked on ebay and on amazon but didn't really see many. Where are people getting them?

Best Buy I guess... I've read that many people were able to get the Final Fantasy XIII faceplate for $9.99 but I think they all sold out.

ebay works for me, i got a woody faceplate for $6 and a halo 3 faceplate for $15

Faceplates are rarer and rarer these days. I was lucky enough to get one of the Bioshock 2 limited edition faceplates when someone posted the link. I got number 200 of 1000. However, I can't bring myself to put it on my Xbox. Try Dollar Tree if you have one in your area, I recently saw some ugly ones in there for a buck.

I've always wondered why faceplates have remained a sort of niche thing. If they were more readily available and based on more games I'd gladly buy a Mass Effect one or something.
