where can i find batman tas dvd set for cheap
topic. thanks
try deepdiscountdvd.com

they're usually the cheapest place around...and with free shipping

i really don't know what the going rate is, but they have it for $33.12

you just missed their 20% off sale, which would've knocked it down to $25 or so

Probably deepdiscountdvd.com has it for the cheapest now. You just missed out on the 20% off sale, but still, they're probably the cheapest.and with free shipping
so all 3 season is going for 68 at dd now?
No. The price is $99.36. I am assuming he got them during the 20% off sale (and the price may have also been lower, in addition to the 20% off).
damn im a idiot for missing this deal. know when the next deal is??
The next deal probably won't be for a while. DDD had this deal over last summer and the next time I saw it was a couple weeks ago. So going by history, there probably won't be a sale until next summer.

Then you missed the sale last November. We (the dvd buying community) expect (hope) that the next sale will be this November, to follow the established pattern. If you haven't already started a wishlist, there is no time like the present.

They also had a sale in November, because I remember getting Arrested Development season 1 during the sale.

OFF topic, but Kaiju ... i like your picture there of Arrested Development. I thought i was the only one who saw that Fox had Arrested Development Season 3 slated for summer. when i sent an email to tvguide.com, they said "summer" meant August, but that was before Fox announced that they would run Season2 in its entirety before beginning S3. Oh well.

Oops. My bad. I must have missed that one somehow.

Thanks. I didn't make it, I just got permission to use it from someone at an Arrested Development message board.
AFAIK, the date when season 3 starts hasn't been announced, but I would guess it's going to be in September, because it's only on Fox's lineup until the end of December. They would have to show an episode every week, which is both good and bad. :)

It kinda sucks that Arrested Development gets the shaft the way it does...I can see why it might be hard to get into if you haven't kept up with it, but still...I hope Season 3 fairs better.

When does Season 2 release on DVD?

Actually AD hasnt really gotten the shaft, its just that not enough people are watching it. Its been in the same time spot and its been given another season despite being almost cancelled twice. I think fox is actually giving this show a lot more leeway then any other network would have. (See: Tru Calling, etc) If only fox had given this much to Firefly, it may still be on the air.

Again, as the above posts state, S2 will probably be on DVD following its run (in entirety) on broadcast and maybe even before S3 debuts

Firefly was a very expensive show, but Fox had treated it like crap from day one by putting it on Friday nights up against Sci-Fi juggernauts like Farscape and Stargate SG-1. Hopefully the Serenity movie will revive interest in the franchise and Fox will revive it or sell it to Sci-Fi (Fox owns the rights to the series till about 2008 I believe). As for Arrested Development I can't wait for Season 3. :D

I picked up my Batman: TAS DVDs at Best Buy using the employee discount they ended up being about $32 after tax. If you can find someone who works there and talk them into letting you use their discount to get them you could do that, but that would be a massive pain in the ass, so just use Deep Discount DVD for the sets. They are still cheap without the extra 20% off.
