You can get Pandora Tomorrow for $35 at Target this week after the coupon and Rainbow Six 3 will apparently be $25 next week at Best Buy after the GGC.

where is the coupon for the target thing and as for the ggc, is that the gaming gift card where u put 5 dollars on it and u save 10 percent?

OK, could someone please explain (or provide a link to a thread that explains) exactly how the Best Buy GGC works? From what I've been hearing, you put $5 on the card, and get $5 off a game. Is that $5 discount on top of the $5 on the gift card? Or is the $5 discount the card itself? I've also heard some people say you only have to put a penny on the card? I'm so confused... ](*,)

Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but I went to my local BB, talked to three different managers within the software/games section, and not a one of them had ever heard of a GGC.

No Matter what u put on the gift card ull get five dollars off, im pretty sure u need to atleast put 5.00 on it though, so u purchase a gift card for five dollars, There is a coupon to save 5 dollars on anything 19.99 and over, so u use ur gift card and use ur coupn and get altogether 10.00 dollars for only ur five u put on the gift card.. Hope that helps

Thanks man, that totally explained it. Can you only get the coupon by getting a GGC? And is the GGC company-wide? Like I said before, the people I talked to at BB had no idea what I was talking about.

Edit: Nevermind, found the FAQ that explains it like I shoulda done in the first place. I'm still wondering why those guys were so clueless as to what I was talking about.

They were clueless because 3/4 of the workers at Best Buy don't take the time to learn about their jobs and what they are selling (I know 1st hand as I used to work there).

don't blame them though, it's not like bestbuy will give them big incentives to do so.

Oh I don't blame the workers at all to be honest. I blame the supervisors and managers more. It's there duty to train the employees, and something that always pissed me off when I worked there was they just put workers anywhere they feel like. I told my manager a thousand times that I would be much more effective selling games because I knew more than probably anyone else in th emedia dept. about them. But he put me in music (which I knew jack crap about) almost everyday, of the 5 months I worked there I got to work the games section about 3 times. They should ask people what they have the most knowledge about and try to staff them there.

*Edit: Wow it's still $29.99, I thought that was only a week long sale from a couple weeks back.

it's still their job to know that kind of stuff. it provides better customer service to know that kind of information (for example, what happened to ledhed up above). :D
splinter cell: pt is still 29.99 at compusa???
Not online; it' still listed at $50. Anyone know if they went back to $30 at B&M?
