where could i get some cheap ass speakers for a PC?

I have had a Boston Acoustics BA635 system for 6 years on my pc and they still work great. You can get them for pretty cheap on ebay, but if you buy them retail they will probably cost about $60.
 
I was at CompUSA last week and they had speakers on clearance for $4.99 if I remember correctly. They were their own brand.

Worth a look if you have one near by

Also, it is very common to find sets for $9.99 in a lot of electronic stores if you look hard enough
 
It depends on what brand you want to go with. If you don't mind the generic ones, you can find them at Office Max or Office Depot (or what office stores) for about or less than $20.

Otherwise, you can go with what the 230s. It's at a pretty good price.
