Where did you hear about CAG?

Someone's sig on gamefaqs back in june of 2003 "(probably bluetoast). I was a little wary about signing up, but then I had to when they stopped letting you read through the message boards unless you were a registered user. btw, whatever happened to bluetoast???
 
At first I was searching on Google for "free games" and came across this site but thought nothing of it. Then I saw the site on EGM and I decided to come back and that's when I made an accout.
 
I'm pretty sure CheapyD's gamefaqs name is "djwins," and I saw it in his sig or something. I have been coming here since mid-May of 2003 but I didn't sign up for the forums because I am a lazy ass.

I heard about it from somebody (forget who) on gamefaqs, who said "Cheapassgamer.com" I thought they were joking around, but I learned it was a real site. This has happened to others afterwards :wink:

I knew CheapyD as djwins on gamefaqs, talking about music games, and a little later found out it was his site.
 
I think I first heard about CAG on XenGamers.

Then I started seeing a lot more credit to CAG on FW.

I didn't join the forums until months later though. I haven't started posting anything until a few days ago.
 
though google I was looking for coupon codes for eb games I typed in eb games coupon codes. it said cheap ass gamer.com i went up and down the front page saw all the deals as well as the info from the forums fell in love and joined.
 
Well, I heard about this place when I first heard about the CC deal because that's where the list was coming from. Then, when I was at my local CC on Jul 4th, I saw someone carrying a list he printed off of this site. I decided to come to this site and join the forum. I'm very glad to hear that there's a bunch of people who don't live very far from me.
 
From my brother. He's known about it for a really long time, and I also saw it in EGM. I've read EGM since... well... the Cold War probably
