I usually buy Jack Daniel's or Blacks from local supermarket..
Average of $20 per 750ml bottle..

Is there any cheap online liquor stores?
How are the prices in Costco, its just that i've never shop there..

Just wondering if any other CAGs know, share w/ me.

BTW, i live in CA.

There are about 35 liquor stores within a five mile radius, so one of them is bound to have what I want on sale. That's your best bet, unless you know someone who works off-sale somewhere.

Sam's Club is a good place to buy liquor. It costs the same price for 1 liter bottle as 750ml bottle anywhere else. It is like getting 25% free ;)

the online liquor laws recently changed, ushering in a wave of greatness (depending on your perspective)

klwines.com (in ca), has some great deals on high quality stuff like charbay or pappy van winkle

there are some other good online stores that focus more on the cheap stuff but i cant think of them offhand

I don't know if Woodman's is local (Wisconsin) or not, but they always have the best prices for everything and sales to boot!

Sam's Club is a good place as well like the previous poster mentioned, but you have to be a member of course.

Not for only liquor purchases. If you go into Sam's and only look to buy liquor, they'll ring you up just fine, though it'll take them a short while to get a supervisor to give the cashier a temporary membership card.

Yes the liquor laws in just about every state prevent them from requiring you to be a member. So at Sam's it's Cheap liquor for everyone!

Ahhhh yes, I smelled a topic that I'm an expert on.

Living in CA, dude... you're going to find few cheapass booze spots. Best thing though, get you some Captain Morgans, and some Cherry Pepsi or Mountain Dew, and kill it (the Mountain Dew mix tastes like cream soda!!). Make that shit strong.

If you're going to a bar, remember.. always work yourself up enough of a buzz that you're near the threshold of a proper shitfacing. It'll be cheaper, trust me. That way you can nurse the beverage but still be sustaining and furthering the buzz.

Then, unless you've brought something home you regret, play the video games shitfaced. It's not a hobby man, it's an artform. You'll gain a larger appreciation of those clearance games that suck sober, they miraculously rule once shitfaced. Superman 64 is a great example.

Remember.. .always try to find a strong liquor to mix with a cheap base. Keep the at home mixing to an ingredient minimum. It'll work out in the long run economically. If your liver is tough, get strong Vodka and OJ, etc.

I'm surprised so many of you buy your liquor from grocery stores, I think(at least here in Ohio) that most of them are restricted to only selling distilled spirits(42 proof or less), and diluted vodka and rum that I get from there is pretty nasty even in cranberry juice(yum, vodka and cranberry).

So, the local state store for me, thanks. Cuervo and I are good buddies :D

yeah Cuervo Tequila is some good shit.. not to mention its low price.

Anyone shopped at Costco? im thinking of making a membership if price is cheap..

Why are you drinking Jack Daniels? I mean you can either spend the same amount and get good whisky or spend less and buy equally shitty whiskey.

I prefer vodka, usually at the regular liquor store.. here in baltimore County (maryland) grocery stores cannot sell booze... (BOOO) I personally like the gas stations that sell it (i mean really, behind the wheel of a car who wants a coke?) but we dont have those here...

all joking aside drinking and driving isnt cool, you could spill your beer.

I like grey goose, smirnoff no 57 (blue label -100 proof) or svednka ... always mixed with 3 limes, 1 lemon and some cheap ass tonic water! that 100 proof will put you on your ass after the 3rd one... also, i like to mix my alcohol with women that always works best..

with the ladies its just a question of "1 roofie, or 2?"
lol

100 proof huh? you can light that $hit on fire hehe..

i usually get 40 proof or 80 proof for parties..

ill buy it next week.. curious..

I personally see no reason why states have open container laws.

There is absolutely no difference between someone slamming a beer and then drinking a can of coke in the car, and someone drinking a beer in the car. The first one is legal (assuming the beer doesn't put you over the legal limit), whereas the second isn't (in most states at least). It just seems fucking stupid.

That and the fact that no piece of anti-drunk-driving legislation since the raising of the drinking age from 18 to 21 has had any effect on the number of drunk driving deaths. They are all just a hassle.

Dude supermarkets carry hard liquor in CA. I live in Ohio and the strongest anyone has in a supermarket is 40 proof or 20%.
I think anything stronger they have to get a liquor license. I go to a state min store here in dayton. A 5th or 750ml bottle of jack costs me about 14 bucks after taxes.

You should check out Three Olives Cherry Vodka, put it in the freezer for like 3 hours and then start drinking, it's one of the smoothest vodka's I have ever had. I like drinking it with Cranberry juice (everfresh). Absolut is also a personal favorite, but that is only cuz it was free and I have probally drank my weight in it, now, where did I put my liver?

As for drinking and driving, I personally like to give myself good challenges in life, so I find it fun to test myself while being trashed, how good am I? Can I make it home? Do I need food? Will I hit a parked car and get pooted in the butt in jail? Answers to these questions and much more when we return!

If you know anyone traveling out of the country tell them to pick up booze for you at the duty free shops in the airports.

I buy my liquor from liquor stores or this kid who robs bottles and sells me the 750ml bottles for $5-10. Last weekend I got a bottle of Jacks and some expesive tequila ( I forget the name, it has a deer on the front) for $15 from him.

underaged so i have to go to a friendly corner store if there is a party or something. however, if my mother, father, brother or brother's girlfriend are kind enough to buy a bottle we head to Beverages and More (Bev-mo for short). they seem to have the best deals around here.
