Thread says it all. I try to get my info from sources that are as unbias as possible but that is never easy. Where do you generally get yours from?

News apps on the iPad mainly.

Washington Post (full paper is still free)
USA Today (ditto)
NY Times (top news is free)
NPR
BBC
Huffington Post
News Aggregator apps like Flipboard, Zite, Pulse

Local newspaper I read online as their iPad app isn't free and sucks.

Fox.

Actually, no. I mainly get mine from news apps on my phone and those link to whatever site pretty much.

I work at a news a station, so at work is where I get most my news. I check out other sites like Cracked, and various forums for odds n' ends.

Comedy Central for me. Like you, I prefer my news to be unbiased, so I listen to Stephen Colbert since he's full of truthiness.

The only news that matters to me is gaming news, and that usually comes from various sites. Anything else I do my best to ignore because the media will invent stories and hype things for FAR too long just to make a buck.

Honestly, I get a good majority of it from various message boards I post on. I basically use it as a launching point and then look for stories about what is being discussed (or read the stories they link). I think it gives me the best variety of news I can get rather than sticking with one site, and it also gives me a lot of local stuff I might not otherwise hear.

Whatever Google News links too as the article with the picture/first link, unless I know the site is full of rubbish.

If its political news, I try to find unbiased sites, but if I read something on say FOX News that's political in nature, I don't forget for one second what site I'm on. Same for whatever sites have an obvious liberal bias.

Also, Daily Show/Colbert Report. But I'll take their sometimes-liberal-bias over any of the million opinion talking head shows on the cable news networks. They're more fair and balanced in bashing both political ideologies than FOX is at reporting actual news.

Stewart is more balanced. Colbert is massively liberal and the arguments he posits through his comedy often do not make much sense.
