I work at a local video game chain and came across an unusual price today. NCAA Football 2k3 for the Gamecube sells for $49.95 used at our store and we offer $15 credit for trade-in. We notified corporate about the strange price and they said that it was actually correct.
I don't know where they get their prices from (maybe it's rare within the company?), but a quick check on Amazon tells me that I can buy it online for as low as 70 cents. Obviously, there's money to be made here. :O
I see plenty of sellers on Amazon for less than a dollar, but buying from each of them makes for a lot of shipping costs. I'm not looking to buy an outrageous number of copies, but 5-10 would make for a nice bit of store credit before they realize they have enough expensive old sports games that they'll never sell.
Anyone know a single seller that might have a few copies of this on hand? They need to have the box and instructions for the full $15 and I'd want to pay $2 or less per copy (I don't want to invest too much into this in case they figure out how ridiculous their price is before I get the games). I considered Gamestop, but I don't think I can trust them to have the boxes and instructions included.
