Where to get that green Halo X-Box?

Is there any place thats still selling these for $169.99? I can't seem to find them at any of the main stores online. I'm considering getting an X-Box sometime, and I would like it to be this one since I want Halo anyway and the green looks cool. I assumed that they meant "limited edition" as in limited edition just like platinum colored Gamecube, but I guess not since I don't really see it any more.
 
You're prolly not gonna find it for the retail price. They only made 200,000 of them, and they were all bought within a month of release or so.

Off, to ebay with you, make haste.
 
Just gotta look around, I think they made 100,000 of them. You could go ebay, but it will cost you more. I would ckech all the stores in your area, CC, BB, EB, Gamestop.

You might be out of luck here. I was able to get one at Target a few weeks ago, but I had to search around. The Target I ended up having to go to was in Baltimore, an hour and a half away from me (three hours there and back.) I got their last one, and I had called dozens of Targets around my area, none of which had even seen the Halo Xboxes in a while. Before I got mine, though, I had seen one at a Best Buy somewhat close to me.
 
Sorry, I thought I hit the deal request board, my mistake. If someone could move this or tell me how I'd appreciate it. I guess it really is kind of limited, but 100,000 is probably still too many for me to justify paying above the retail price for. I don't need the Xbox too much and it wouldn't be a good investment for scarcity sake.

Hehe, no prob. I hope I didn't sound like I was knocking you or anything.

Who knows, there maybe some out there still. Last time I was at my Target (about a month and a half ago) they still had some. Like Nick said, look everywhere you think they might carry it. You'll run into it eventually. You just might be stuck with a high price on it.
 
Some EBs and/or gamestops may have them lying around in the back. I got one from an EB about 40 days ago, he said he had 2 back there, but oddly niether was on the sales floor. Also, I think Ledhed had it right at them making 200,000 of them.
 
Preordered mine and picked it up the first day. =D

Try everywhere.. even the extremely lousy Wal-Mart here had about 3 of them at one point.

Places like that are actually you're best bet. You aren't gonna find it in places that people know to find it at. You gotta dig deep into the grind, and find some piece of shit retailer that noone wants to go to.

My local Game Crazy store still has one...used believe or not! Besides cheking the big chains, you should also chek out the small game stores in your area. They maybe more expensive, but they should still have one. One of them here has one for $200.
 
Just opened mine today... its very cool and green... just started playing Halo... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Gamecrazy got two in, so I went and put my name on one and they held it till i could buy it... WOW....
 
wats wrong with the normal colored xbox dude? oooh and u can get one thru those sites where u have to sign up 4 stuff and ern points...its on the cag homepage link... lol
