Didn't know if this needed it's own thread, but I thought I would add this here.

I went and bought Kameo today for $29.99, and I got a mail-in rebate for $20.

So, Kameo is only $9.99 AR!

Pretty good deal imho.

Yep, they handed me a separate receipt and a separate MIR that was printed like a receipt. I think the rebate is good through somewhere around the 18th. I already mailed it so I'm not 100% sure about the date.

Also, in case you haven't used Fye/Wherehouse rebates before, instead of using the actual barcode cut from the game, use the barcode sticker that they put on all their products with the price-tag. I have done this many times in the past and always get my rebates.
 
Cocunuts had an ad for these prices yesterday (NYC Region), and was matchable at circuit city for the games (save an extra $2 - not to mention I didn't have to wait until today, since the Coconuts by me is closed Sundays)
 
Perfect Dark also came with a rebate. I just bought it this morning at Wherehouse. I was also interested in picking up Kameo, but they only had used copies.
 
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I did the $30 mail in rebate from FYE like 2 months ago. I got a card in the mail saying it was a $3 CD rebate and that it was invalid.

I've tried going to multiple FYE stores in my area, asking for a regional managers number, I've contacted the main office for FYE and I got a callback from ONE person from FYE, when I wasn't home.

I tried calling them back numerous times and get that 'their number is busy'.

I even heard from an employee at a different FYE from where I bought my PStwo that they have had other people complain about not getting rebates.

I'm a couple days away from filing with the Better Business Bureau and my states Attorney General about this.

Again, if you intend on doing the rebate for the PStwo, make multiple copies and keep them onhand, as you may well need them if you have as much trouble as I have.
 
I'm still waiting for a few $10 rebates from FYE that I sent in about 4 months or so ago. I have received 3 different confirmation emails from them that they received the rebate but that's about it. I believe that they have about 4 more to go in the confirmation emails that they owe me. I didn't make copies of the rebates but now I regret that. I would never again bother with that. If I get something from them it's going to be because I want it not because the rebate made the price attractive.

I cant speak for them from personal experience but they are part of that Trans World Entertainment group with FYE, Wherehouse, Suncoast, and Sam Goody so they must be a reputable company.
 
They only had PDZ, it sucks that they open the new games and keep the disc in the back.

Do you also get the rebate if you order from coconuts? I was thinking of ordering Kameo but only if I can get it for $10 after the rebate.
 
Coconuts didn't have PGR3, so got it pricematched for 27.99 at CC. The guy at the counter was like "Wow, Coconuts actually has prices lower that us?!"

not too shabby for a video game gift...
 
wow this is cheap enough to buy and then ebay for a few bucks more. Great deal... anybody verify if coconuts.com orders are also valid for the rebate?
 
Well they had the rebate posted on the siite up until Monday then it disappeared. dId anyone download the rebate and if so could you host it someplace. The games are still 29.99 as of today.
 
Did any of you guys actually get your rebates from this deal?

I haven't received my rebates for PGR3 and PD0 that I sent in about 3 months ago. I have copies of everything I mailed in but they don't list any number to call in case of problems.

I may have to visit my local Wherehouse to sort this out.
