I know the stock is limited, but since no one posted it.I hope someone can take advantage on some of these great deals. So far the Warehouse updates are far better than the EB mourning updates.I might update every day if this trend continues. The great part aboout Warehouse is that they have high standard of taking in tradin, you prolly get complete game in excellent condition compared to EB or Gamestop fuck condition

I hope someone can help me find some coupons for wherehouse,so some cheapassgamer can save some money.Ok,now I realize that Warehouse update their inventory random in any time period,so this make it very difficult to track the newly added games. Click on link even if it say out of stock. The game could possibile to come back in stock or you can save your time and I will update with a proper title so you know a new game is added
There is a rise in the number of reports of games that arrive with fingerprints, scratches, or cases that get broken in transport. I don't think anyone's gotten an incomplete game. I haven't gotten anything bad yet. I'm going to stick with Wherehouse until they give me a reason to consider otherwise. It's not like there are a whole lot of options in the used market anymore, with EB gone.
I've gotten three games without instructions so far, and maybe four games that have been badly scratched because the disc came detached from the middle of those crappy replacement cases and bounced around in shipping (two of them were both). I've also gotten a couple games that looked pretty bad, but cleaned up ok (fingerprints mostly). The two GBA games that I ordered that came in bubble mailers were also pretty well crushed in mailing (and one looked like it was in pretty bad shape before). I think that the only way to get GBA games from them in good shape is to order enough things in one order so that they have to ship them out in a real box.

That said, they've either just refunded me the price of the game, shipped out another copy for free, or offered a return/exchange with free shipping (the GBA game). So all in all, getting a bad copy of something hasn't been that big a deal (sort-of a bonus sometimes even!).
I don't think that always works because they ship from multiple warehouses. I ordered 3 items last week, so far I got 1 from a warehouse in FL and the other 2 were shipped seperatly.

I'm pretty sure that all of my used items have come from CA, but my new copy of Samurai Warriors Xetreme Legends came from FL (in a cardboard mailer, no less!).

The one GBA game that I recieved in decent shape (Super Mario Advance 4), I ordered with 2 other games and they shipped it in a cardboard box. When my new credit comes though (hopefully tomorrow afternoon...my packages were delivered to them today), I'll be ordering a couple GBA games togeter to see if I can get some that look decent.

yeah i got one order in a box today, monster rancher 3, aerowings, and vampires countdown or something. the rest, like mentioned above, all arrived in generic dvd cases. i guess it's some new bs policy. luckily the discs are perfect.

I sent in a bunch of stuff and they didn't accept one of the CDs and sent it back to me today.

One of the problems with the trading-in and buying of games, if it hasn't been said before, is that the people who run the site and those who sell the games (and I assume take in trade-ins) are not really connected. I know I have asked questions just to get the answer "we don't know because our warehouse takes care of it."

Not quite the best way to do business, but hey. =\
It must be free of visible scratches and have all the associated artwork in good condition. Please examine your trade-in items carefully, as rejected product will not be returned to you.
Man o Man! I need to get into this racket.

Anybody got a complete collection of current generation titles? I offer top dollar if they pass my rigorous standards.

When somebody takes your property and offers you nothing in return, isn't that called theft?

Trading with wherehouse through the mail sounds like a stupidity test.

I've traded with them and had no problems.... but then again I was trading them new games(crap ones) I bought for cheap, or games that I had opened and tried once but would never play again... so all my stuff was in new condition.

You're right about it being a great racket. Especially if they are indeed selling those titles that they refuse to give credit for or send back(I'm assuming that's what has been happening lately). It's free profit for them, and in the case of the buyer who actually gets mad about the condition they can simply let them keep the damaged game(and not lose any money except the shipping).

This is all based on assumption however, there are other possible reasons for them selling games in crap condition lately. Either way though they shouldn't be selling stuff that's in condition that doesn't even meet their own standards.

Got my latest Wherehouse order in the mail Eternal Darkness GC and Mario vs Donkey Kong GBA. They came in the white cardboard box CRUSHED because some idiot didn't put the box together right and the cheapo dvd case of the game was bent badly and the gba game box was as flat as the inside stuff would allow. Both were missing manuals..... I didn't think Wherehouse would take stuff unless it's complete? Probably they didn't give someone credit and now they are selling them, lol.

Oh well I'll still send them a complaint email just to see what they say but at least I bought these with dirt cheap trade in credit.
Oh well I'll still send them a complaint email just to see what they say but at least I bought these with dirt cheap trade in credit.
you'll most likely get another set sent out no problem and won't have to return the old. I've had a good amount of problems with them, but they always came through and set another copy.

Twice i got the wrong cd in a used cd - worked out nice because i got a band i never heard of that was actually decent.
Bought a new DVD(4 dvd set) and one disc looked like it was warped from heat or something and they sent a whole new set. Gave the old one away to a friend saying he could see if it worked for him

FYI- Even though it says they will not return it if it is rejected, they have always sent back my rejects. I think they put that on there to save some time, since the people who see that will hopefully decide not to try and trade in the scratched games.

My lastest and possible my last order from wherehouse arrived today. These generic cheap game cases are killing them. One of the cases was cracked, but the game was fine and complete. The second case broke where the disc is held in place and the game is so freaking stratched up. I emailed them to see what they will do about it, but if they plan on using these generic cases I just don't see a reason to bother with ordering...

i mean it's a waste of fucking money anyway, not reusing cases, as well as adding more to waste disposal. this and their choice to switch to shitty game destroying bubble wrapped packaging are two of the stupidest online website changes i've ever seen. of course they don't even touch the loss of stackable coupons and the morning update.

Hoepfully you'll get a good reply from them! I received a response this morning regarding the email I mentioned a few posts back about my Eternal Darkness GC arriving without a manual and it's case being cracked and bent badly and then Mario vs Donkey Kong GBA arriving box crushed and also missing the manual.... I was honest and told them that both games worked fine but just described the other stuff being damaged......

They credited me the full purchase price back on the GBA game since they had no more in stock AND are sending me a full replacement for the Eternal Darkness! The credit already posted back into my account and they shipped the game! Grabbed God of War with that credit refund this morning and it's shipped as well.

I made out lovely on this deal! For around $11 cash (clearance trade-ins and shipping) I got God of War, Mario vs DK and 2 copies of Eternal Darkness.

Lame for only being able to use it once per account, but still, hell ya.

There are some great dvd boxset deals using the code: Aqua teen, Robot Chicken, Curb Your Enthusiasm, SeaLab and Nightmare on Elmstreet, etc.

oh God, I just placed an order and used the code but I didn't see how many awesome deals their were on dvd box sets and collections. Seriously, this shit is even better than Deep Discount dvd's 20% Off. Anyway know of a way around the one time use limit?

Worst case scenario, I guess I could ask someone I know to open up an account and order them for me.

Just open up another account with a different email address. You could probably still use the same credit card too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I just bought a ton of DVD's, and a couple of games. (Warship commander, NHL 2k6 360) saved over $150 when all was said and done. :)

Thanks,
Matthew

Hahah, you should have never come to this site if you're trying to save money.

I wanted to buy those 3 games Yoshi had listed (thanks), but the shipping kills it. $5 for the 3 games, makes the order $10. It's too bad because I've wanted Aerowings, just never have picked it up. Probably need to look at EB, see how much it is.

You need to place three separate orders, one item each. Then use the coupon "VISACUS" for $3.00 off. Shipping for one item is $2.95, so essentially you get free shipping plus an extra 5 cents off your item.

The coupon can be used multiple times, and you don't have to be paying by Visa. I just used it about 2 weeks ago so it should still be valid, and I paid by store credit.

It's only on orders of $10.99 or more
Can you use Wherehouse.com credit at spun.com?
No, unfortunately. VISACUS should work there too though.

I forgot to post this a few days ago, when there was still the 20-25% coupons. Still, maybe there is something somebody is looking for.
How are you finding these?

I typically check their "Just In" (mostly worthless) and the PSP and DS sections regularly, but checking everything is too much of a chore for me.
Well I can't answer for him, but I can tell you how I keep track. I have 61 used games on my wishlist. I just go to my wishlist daily and check to see if anything has been added.
