Honestly all of those cameras are complete garbage and you should just spend the little extra cash and get something a little better.

could you please tell me why they are bad? And Graystone; do you think the first one I selected is any good?

No its not. Its flash based which means you'll get 30mins of video on a 2 gig card. Secondly they're just really bad brands. I sold DXG in the past, and its just shitty quality.
Opps I meant this camera:

Is this one any good? Also to note I'm not maing anything over 10 min. so...
Yea but if your not making anything over 10 mins. I wouldn't spend the extra money. How long are you taking this class? How many videos will you end up doing? It might be cheaper just to rent a camcorder from a local film place for one day. Shoot what you need to then return it. Should only be $20 or so.

I'm taking the class till December and be doing four big video projects and known amount of littte assignments.
