which free phone from at&t to get? Any 1st hand experience with Samsung A727?

All I can tell you is DO NOT get a RAZR. I've got one and they are so crappy. Somehow, even though I don't listen to music, the speakers are blown. That and they break like none other, one of my friends has been through 3 in less than a year.
 
I work in a call center for ATT fixing data devices.

That Nokia 6085 is cheap. Customers call in because its wear and tears easily. Also get many dropped calls on it. I don't know about those others since I mainly only deal in blackberrys and things with data connect plans.

I usually get someone transferred to me that came to the wrong place and have to troubleshoot that crappy nokia.

Oh and if you have a membership to Sams or Cotsco they usually have cheaper phones without the mail in rebate things. Like recently my Sams had $50 blackberry pearls with 2 year contracts and they are 129 on the site. They also seem to have more free phones than the stores but selection is limited.
The Sams one is run by an vendor so I heard you can go to it without a membership and just tell them at the door you are there for the cell phone place.

Also depends what you are going to use the phone for. If its just the phone and texting the get one of ht cheapys but if you want to surf the net and such on it then you might want to add a bit to it and get something with 3G. Two years is a long time.
 
yeah the A727 is my #1 as well at this point. But what is that mail in rebate thing, how do I use it?

The A727 has 3G which is why its #1 on my list as of now.

I probably wont go in to get a phone until saturday so hopefully I can hear from some feedback on the overall use of the phone.
 
if your with AT&T a samsung 737 which i think is liek the bigger brother of your samsung 727 but it slides up its a good phone for media and articles on news hell i watch it liek a mini TV for clips everyday. very beautiful screen but it almost fails on its purpose (call quality) i guess it depends on the AT&T signal but unless u have a normal head or good hearing this phone can be a pain if the signal is weak in your area. Also if your using the 3g feature alot which i do BOY WILL U BE SURPRISED ON BATTERY LIFE!!! it will die in less than 2 hours so make sure u buy every thing there is for recharging you dont wanan be left with a dead phone.


theres really no accessories for it i bought a belt clip cover for it but there not really designed to handle the up and down slide feature so they all look weird and none will cover your phone completely unless you buy one of those universal pouches..(mine looks liek its wearing a phone thong ~lol~ :p) after that good luck trying to hear it ring once its in one of those things cuz the sound even on high is still moderate but not what u expect
i give it a 7 out of 10 its a good phone im lovin mine just make sure u get the warranty cuz it feels abit cheap and breakable
