I'm currently looking for a budget gaming/work laptop for college this fall and I've somewhat narrowed it down to these two.

Which would you recommend? The game I'm mostly going to play is Starcraft 2. I know system requirements haven't been released, but I'm pretty sure some people have a general idea.

Or you can recommend one under $800. My dad is paying for it so I don't want it to be too much.

Coincidentally, I am actually looking for a laptop around the same price point as you are. These are 2 of the ones I am looking at:

If someone wouldn't mind comparing all 4, maybe that would be helpful to both of us. BTW, to the TC, I'm not trying to hijack your topic here. I was going to make my own topic, but I thought this was a better idea. If you really don't like this idea, I'll delete my post.

My only requirement is a laptop that has a HDMI output, at least a 320 gig HD, and all the basics. I don't know anything about processors, so I'd be interested to know which one might be the best of the 4, if it was better enough to make a difference.

Nah I don't care. The more options the better.

Looking at your two, I think the Lenovo has the best processor out of the four, but I'm not sure.
