Which NES Classic should I get (I want the shirt)?????

Actually, I stopped by Circuit City yesterday and picked up Legend of Zelda and the shirt since they had them. I really like the shirt and think it is well worth $10--and thus I'm just paying $4.99 for the Classic game (at least that's how I justify it in my mind). I grabbed Zelda mainly because I thought it might sell out first, but I am seriously thinking of going back and exchanging it.

I never had an NES, so none of these games really hold nostalgia for me. I am not a fan of Pac Man or Donkey Kong (they frustrate me more than seem fun!), so those two are out. I have the Zelda collector's disk, so I already have Zelda on the cube (and I just recently bought Link's Awakening and Oracle of Seasons, so I have plenty of Zelda for GBA). I would have picked up Mario Bros. for sure, but without a progress save, I think I would play it twice and put it aside (my schedule doesn't allow for me to game for more than 20 minutes at a time usually). Now the rest of the games, I don't really know since I never had NES.

Suggestions anyone?

(who was disappointed CC didn't have Harvest Moon so I could $5 off of that!)
 
None of them are really worth $20. Go buy Animal Crossing for $30. All of these games are unlockable/obtainable in that game and are transferrable to your GBA via a GCN/GBA link cable. Much better!
 
Clarification:
Oh I agree--none are worth $20. But they are on sale for $15 at CC--and it you get a cool shirt for free. I *want* the shirt so I am definitely going to get one of the games--it's just a matter of which is the best since I am going to have to get one anyway.

In my opinion, zelda is the best of the lot. No thing as too much zelda, esp if you haven't played this one.
 
You'll probably get the most playing time out of Zelda.

I have to say, though $20 for those games is a ballsy ripoff. It should be $20 for ALL of them on one cartridge.
 
wait is zelda $20 also in stores. Just wondering cause the olny ones marked for 15 on the website are smb, pacman, and donkey kong
 
i just shelled out 20 dollars for zelda at best buy.. circuit city had nothing except pacman and no shirts. And all bb had was zelda, bomberman. pacman, dk. I was lucky to snag the game i wanted... I look at it as I just got a good paying job, so a 20 dollar cost is fine for me. Peace out, A Town.
 
at my cc all classics were 15 w/free shirt.

i picked up zelda as well since the only 2 i really wanted were mario and zelda. ill get ice climbers if it drops below 10
 
I didn't even get a shirt. I called on Tues and they said they had 1 shirt left, then he told me he couldn't even give me a shirt because the sale doesn't start until Wed. Of course by Wed, the shirt was gone.

you should have demanded satisfaction. seriously, taken a white glove, slapped the manager in the face with it, and challenged him to a duel.

i was lucky enought to get a shirt, but when i went on sunday they told me wednesday they'll have them, i went when the store opened on wednesday and they only had 2 shirts left. you can bet if there would have been no shirts, i would have brought hell on circuit city
 
I just got back from my CC not too long ago and I picked up Zelda and Ice Climbers and the only shirts they had were the Mario Bros. ones. So they ended up giving me two of those. I really wish they gave me two different ones but oh well.
 
My bf and I just went and got Zelda and Ice Climbers at the CC near us, for $15 each, and a free shirt each (the same shirt though.....I heard there were different ones, but no such luck.) We actually got two GBs, Four Swords, and such and save $60 total. Pretty sweet. We have Zelda for NES and for Gamecube, but I don't think I can ever have enough Zelda (it's my fave!).

that sucks! if you bought legend of zelda or super mario bros., at least you can pm those games from the fry's ad and you'll get 110% back. :lol:
