Which old school RPG to play during my winter break?

CAGiversary!
I'm getting 9 days off of work and want to make it through one of my SNES RPGs that are collecting dust - assuming the batterys still work. I can't decide which I should I play so I figured I'd make a poll to decide. Help!
None of the above. Phantasy Star I, II, or IV.
I don't have those and I'm not going to emulate. I actually have these games for my SNES. I also have FFII, Lufia 2, Secret of Evermore, Mario RPG, and Breath of fire but I'm not quite as interested in playing them. I figure I have enough time to finish one long RPG or two shorter ones.

Eathbound wins. One of the most awesome RPG's ever. Fantasy medival/furture setting? HELL NO! Beat those hippies, dogs, and crows with your baseball bat!

Have you played through any of them already? If you have, play the ones you've yet to beat. If you haven't played any of them, I'd say earthbound and Chrono Trigger. You can get through both of those before your break is over.

Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger: that's my order from best to worse. Maybe Final Fantasy VI simply because it's more a 1 player experience..what about Final Fantasy IV though? You could play it on GBA remade...

However, picking up a Genesis and reliving memories recently, I'd say you find $50 and get a Genesis with Phantasy Star IV, Shining Force II, and Beyond Oasis...I got Beyond Oasis for $1.99...cartridge only copies of SFII and PSIV go for $15 plus shipping....best $50 you'll spend in your life...

That list is pretty spiffy, but I'd have to say FFIII is the best over-all adventure. CT is a close second, though.

Earthbound is the best but they are all great RPG's. If you can get your hands on a multi tap and two other friends then Secret of Mana gets to the top of the list really quick. Just make sure you actually use your weapons when fighting bosses instead of just leveling up your magic with the pixie and just blowing through enemies. That is my only real complaint about the game. Well regardless what game you end up picking you will have a great game to play.

In this order:
1. Chrono Trigger - greatest RPG ever!
2. FFIII - greatest FF game ever!
3. Secret of Mana
4. Earthbound

I'd personally go for Secret of Mana or EarthBound depending if I wanted an action or turnbased RPG. EarthBound/FFVI depending on the mood.
