Which one do you think was the best Zelda game all time

Started way back when with the original....Zelda II I thought was more fun with the sword battles and all so I guess thats MY best. Currently working on WW.

Also I havent played it yet but I thought it was always nicknamed TOOT, not OOT.
 
The adventure of link, the only zelda game that allowed you to do a super jump and slam your sword through the top of someone's skull. The ending was kind of crap though....

They did. BUT it was only availabe in Japan via the Super Famicom BS Sattelite download service. As far as I understand, you bought an attachment for the bottom of your SFam which let you download demos, news, FULL games, etc.

Wind Waker... Its the only one that held my interest..... I would say Minish Cap comes in second.

Im probably biased because I'm not a hardcore Zelda fan, but I do enjoy the games.
 
ZELDA 2: The Adventures of Link for NES! :D

for real.. huzzah:applause: :applause: :applause: to EGM for recognizing and placing very high on their 200 best games of their time this month. they placed it ahead of OOT, even.

Zelda 2 had great graphics, a HUGE map.. cool tricks (flying though the keyhole, climbing down chimneys)... awesome boss battles. GREAT controls (fighting the iron knights was a test of skill everytime). good beats. leveling up (which for some reason a lot of zelda fans hated (?)). cool ending...
 
They're all good except for the CD-i games. But OoT is my favorite Zelda game, and my favorite game of all time.
