Which Picture Represents Emo?

That chart somewhat tells the truth about these emos...not even the gay community likes them...and If a gay community came to the conclusion that emos arent accepted in society, you think by now the gay community will realize that there are still people who dont accept gay people in society too....

I don't think one person represents an entire community. And not every person on the planet is going to be accepting of every other person. Just the way things work.

I know...I just find it a trip that theres one gay person that doesnt like emos...you would think that he would support these emos...
That's a cute girl in the OP.

A little flat though.
I actually think her boobs are a little too big to be emo. I mean if you're an emo kid and you're hanging out with chicks with nice titties, what's there to be depressed about? That girl needs less boobies and more ugly.

And anyway, The Don, you have two choices: kill yourself or write a poem about how your life is terrible (extra emo points if you say your life is terrible while you live in a rich suburb and get everything you want). Then if you haven't already killed yourself I'd suggest getting on that right away.
OP, how do you see? Do you have radar underneath your hair or something?
Huh? What? My hair is long but not that long. To complete the emo hair look, I still need to grow it for maybe a month or two longer and use some hair wax. It needs to be longer so my bangs can cover my eyes. Right now my glasses block my bangs from extending downward.
The don, I don't understand why you always either try to look stupid by your posts or is this the real you. I mean i'm always the odd person of the group but even I think you're nuts.
Why do you think I'm nuts? Again, I make a thread to ask a question and people go off on tangents.
Why do you think I'm nuts? Again, I make a thread to ask a question and people go off on tangents.
It's because you ask stupid questions.
It's because you ask stupid questions.
They're not stupid questions, he's emo, this is important shit.

I cry, I smile, I get angry, I get tired. I am emotional. I imagine life would be boring without emotions... but boredom coutns as an emotion.
I imagine life would be boring without emotions...
No wai man
Dont worry. Hes missing a couple brain cells.
You've got to be missing a lot more than that... like taste, eyes or... a soul to think Equilibrium is a bad movie.

haha thats sad. u cant even be emo right because of your glasses... your pathetic
I dunno. That looks like an old enough picture that it should say "I'm gonna go listen to REO Speedwagon."
Nah, Speedwagon isn't Emo enough. He's gonna go listen to Spandau Ballet

Geez, where did everyone's sense of humor go? (Although it's flattering that someone took me seriously as the voice of the gay community.) I'll put in digs at any group (including any I am part of) if I think it's funny. Life's too absurd to take too seriously.
I know...I just find it a trip that theres one gay person that doesnt like emos...you would think that he would support these emos...
Why would someone assume that gays would like emos? Do they give good head or something?

The Cure.

Isn't that really what we've all been trying to say in a round about way?

They are soooo not emo.
It's because you ask stupid questions.
There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people:D
Gosh, what is wrong with Linkin Park? What did they do to be associated with that picture? I like Linkin Park.

Edit: But I will admit I like some of their songs, but overall...the above rolling smiley says it all.
So you're saying it would be like a bad movie?

You've got to be missing a lot more than that... like taste, eyes or... a soul to think Equilibrium is a bad movie.
^Again I agree with Kayden. What is the world turning to?
Yes, I know. I listen to more than just emo.
I sincerely doubt you listen to any "emo"[/pretentious music asshole]

And I rest my case.

Hopefully this trend will pass soon, though the upcoming black metal one will probably be worse.

I disagree. I think the next big phase will be the return of 1980's style cock rock with 1970's style sensibilities.

That is, without the fashionable sense of irony built-in, I mean.

THat's a decent possibility too. I'm attributing my theorey to the amount of black metal shirts members of these scene bands wear, the fact the From First To Last's fan club is called "Kvlt", and also things like Satyricon signing to Roadrunner, and more and more of the trendhoppers knowing bands like 1349 and Darkthrone. I know a lot of places where the BM elite congregate they're being overtly protective of their bands (See: Bathory).

It's possible. I was told by several of the rollergirls I work with that their husbands want to kill me for a Venom shirt I was wearing in a picture. Then again, as "husbands," they're way out of the 'hip teen' phase of life.

Personally, I look forward to the next big shift, just for the sense of seeing people with awful taste in awful music lament about how awesome things used to be.
Can someone point me to the reason why everyone hates this Don character? I seem to be out of the CAG loop
the consensus is that he loved... way too much
And I rest my case.
What case did you have? Panic! and MCR are emo bands. Is that what you were getting at?
No, they're not. They're mainstream bands with emo attitudes that appeal to emo little scenesters like yourself.
Wow, that nice 3 post exchange of pretentious, music elitism exhibited in this page was awesome. Well done you two, well done. :applause:
You're just jealous because I'm better than you.
You're just jealous because I'm better than you.
Eh... I prefered your old stuff personally.

I heard stories from this years Warped Tour about the punk kids roughing up the emo kids in the pit. Warped Tour is getting dangerously more emo with every year, which I think is why I stopped going.
