Sanyo is kind of a crappy brand. The Sammy the guy linked in his original post is $300, grab that. It's not worth getting a Sanyo just to save $4.

Actually, the Samsung linked in the original post goes back to a tv that's $349.99, so that's a difference of $53.99 over the Sanyo.

Read the OP, he found both for 300, obvious choice is the Samsung. Although i'd spend 50 more and get a 32" myself. But if you cant, go samsung.

The OP didn't say he found the 26" Samsung for $300 anywhere in the post and the link does go to a page for a Samsung tv, but it's $350.;)

But whatever. If I go for a bigger screen ever, it's probably gonna be another LCD monitor, as long as it's cheaper than a standard LCD tv.

Im going to be as polite as possible, but the links are from different sites for 2 different TVs, most likely because those were the best suited to show the tv and model. He then listed the 2 tvs and the prices. Its not hard to put 2 + 2 together.

they were actually both $300 at the time of the posting . i think im going to go with the samsung as it is still 300 in my local store. Thanks for all of the advice!

Isn't the Samsung one a computer monitor? You probably wanna make sure it has speakers(unless you're using an HT of some sort, in which case, it doesn't matter).

It's got speakers. All of their T..HD "monitors" can also double as televisions since they have speakers and component and HDMI inputs.

That's what I'm currently using for my PS3. The monitor has some 1w speakers on it and has VGA, HDMI and DVI-D(w/ HDCP) ports.

If they're cheaper than an HDtv and can still do the same thing with an external tuner of some sort, why not get one?

before i opened this thread i bet my friend 5 bucks someone would say he should get a bigger tv.

lmao, i win

get the samsung btw
