Ok, I am down to 3 TV's for Black Friday so I can keep my options open in case I can't get any of them. I am using this HDTV for my bedroom, and these are my options.

LG 22" LCD HDTV- $350 but I will be able to get for $335 after RZ certs

Samsung 19" LCD HDTV- $330

Sharp 19" LCD TV w/ DVD Player- $300

So which one should I get? Which one has the best picture quality? The 22" one seems like the one I want the most, but not sure about quality of LG. Samsung has great quality HDTV's but for just about the same price I can get a bigger tv from LG. So what are your opinions?

I'd be all over the Olevia 32" at Kmart for $419 if I were you (dont know if you are only looking to spend $300, but we love our Olevia, rivals our Bravia).

22" is really, really small... this computer monitor is 22". I couldn't fathom using it as a TV, especially if it were only 720p.

my bro has a 23" samsung in his room. I hooked up my elite to it via HDMI and it looks great. Played Bioshock on it no problems at all =) 22" monitor? damn why so big lol

It's something you probably wouldn't truly appreciate unless you have one. I love my 22" monitor.

I second the awesomeness of 22" of real estate for a desktop. Best $250 I've spent in a long time. :)

22" for a 1920x1200 computer monitor that you're a couple feet from -- yes.

22" for a 1366x768 TV that you're several feet from -- no.

Go 32" for your TV, at least.

the bigger the better when it comes to a tv, trust me its true, even if you think its a bit overkill (i have a 42" plasma in my room that isn't very large), i fucking love it

Don't try to tell me what size of TV to get. I currently have a 19" Samsung monitor for my display and it works great and it is the perfect size for me. I only play a few feet away from the monitor because as I said it is a bedroom TV. The only reason I want a TV is to be able to have cable and other things. Oh, and I can't be going all out for a TV as I am only 16 and only have so much money available for a TV let alone room.

I have that Samsung 19''. Its a very nice set. It sits next to a 51'' Hitachi HDTV on a shelf in the entertainment center. I have a 50' HDMI cable on it so I can pull it out and put it anywhere I want. Personally I think some games just don't play well over 50", and I like the flexibility, it's also easier on the eyes. I would definitely pony up the extra cash and go with the Samsung.

Don't be a douche when you ask people to tell you what to buy and then get answers.

Go with whatever one you like best, of those 3 I would go with the lg. They make quality stuff and in those screen sizes you really wont see much difference in the quality from 1 to another. Sharp doesn't even make that tv. It is made by some other company like orion. I can't find the post but I read this in a thread at avsforum.com

I'm in the crowd of people telling you to fork out the extra $50-100 and get something twice as big :)

You don't need two 20" moniters....
