Which TV would you get?

Samsung DLP 50'' 1080p

Samsung DLP 56'' no 1080p

I guess the real question is, is 1080p greater than 6 more inches?

Also, should I get the 4 year warranty for like, $350 more?

Get the 1080p. It's clear that 1080p will be the format of the future so you might as well keep yourself in the game. Otherwise, you have guaranteed that your TV will be (somewhat) obsolete much sooner.

I would get neither because they use bulbs, but if you are set on getting one, get the 1080P for sure without doubt.
