Who bought a laptop on BF and what kind of deal did you get?
I bought the HP laptop bundle from Best Buy but got lucky. I got there after lunch on BF not expecting anything left and some guy from Geek Squad jumped on the counter and yelled "I got 2 HP laptop BF deals left! Who wants one?" I immediately jumped on one. I got the bundle for $549 but instead of getting HP model dv6407nr I got model dv6607nr (not sure if it is an upgrade but on the computer it rang up at $739.99 before discount instead of $649.99). Also got restore software installed on it for free ($29.99 value) in addition to the antivirus. Over a grand worth of stuff for less than 600 bucks after tax. Better yet....NO MAIL IN REBATES!
I'm sure most of you got in on that Sony lappy deal for $499, lucky bums. But in HP's defense, the HP lappy looks nicer and comes with a dvd remote that stores in the express slot. But overall, I'm still happy since I really needed a lappy for work
