Im headin out to pick it up in an hour from the local gamestop

anyone else grabbin it to play on XBL? im all about beatin your asses online ;)

I just got back from my gamestop. They told me there was a production delay for the xbox version and that it would be there this evening. Grrrr. When I do get it, I'll be on Live. My Gamertag is rynomite6489

i hear teh GC version isnt up to par

i played the ps2 demo, and there is alot of focus on the right analog stick being rotated to different degrees in rapid succession. the gamecube (with its rigid shape) really messes up and slows down the whole process :(

Yeah I was trying to decide the same thing, but after reading the review of the GC version I decided to pick up FN for Xbox

holy shit! this game is soo good

i picked it up this afternoon and there are a suprisingly larga amount of people online (200+ at one point)

im ranked #24 with 1 loss and 10 wins so far :)

I picked it up....pretty good game. I never played last years, so it's still taking me a while to get used to it.

I started a career and the Amatuer boxers suck, but it's fun to beat them.
How do you improve your skills in the career?

bowmanarmy, you should stick around in the amateur ranks to win the amateur championship. I did this last night in one sitting, took about 45 minutes to breeze through the amateur ranks.

That's quite a lie. The stupid storms in the Northeast screwed up shipments for the game, but not everyone was affected...and seeing as where your from, I'd say your local Gamestop employees are retards.

I liked last year's version, but this seems to be much improved. The Total Puch Control is more rewarding this year by being able to put together better puch combinations. If you like boxing, get this game!

Is this game worth doing the trade in deal at gamestop? Trade in any easports 2005 title and get Fight Night Round 2 for $29.99. I just bought Tiger Woods 2005 last week at the pawn shop for $12 bucks. I need a couple of suggestions though.

I can wait until this hits $20. I didn't get into the first one, and I think I am going to rent the GC and Xbox versions and see which I like. They both have something I want...

I'll be happy if it hits $29.99 soon. It'll be close to a year before it drops to $20. I'm hoping for one or the other here soon though.

I think the game is pretty good. Although I haven't touched it really since I bought it...baseball and Star Wars:RC have taken my time. I never played last years game, so I cannot compare.

The control scheme is good. Although, the game gets a bit repetitve.....just like any fighting game almost. I've only playeda few amateur fights, and dominated all of them. I played one Exhibition fight, Ali vs Sugar Ray (or something liek that) and the CPU was killing me, but I ended up winning the fight....go figure that one out.

I'm still unsure if I want to keep this or not. Got it at GameRush, so I know I could use it in the trade 2 deal.

If you like boxing, get this game......really no other competition (as Rocky sucked IMO)
