Sorry if this is asked a lot I didnt see anything in the search although I didnt go down very far  I'm thinking of trading in my GC games to get a GBA SP and maybe a game or two. :D

It depends. A lot of factors can play in which gives better trade-in money. For instance, one or the other could be having some type of a promotion, etc. Also it dpends on how old the game is. they tend to be very similiar though.

I spent $20 bucks on most so even 5 bucks I guess is something any less then that and Imean I'll take my chances with ebay

I'm going to have to agree with GameRush considering the fact I haven't stepped foot into an EB and GameStop since my GameRush opened. But I don't have a GameCrazy near me, but heard that the trade in rates are a little bit better at GameCrazy.

P.S. I love GameRush.

If EB and GS is all you have, I feel very sorry for you, and the same time lauch at your misfotrune.
that link is to some CDW site............

GameCrazy. They guarentee the highest trade-in value. If you find a higher value, tell them, and they'll beat it.

At my GC, anyways. I actually may have an interview with them in a few days.

Off topic but I would like to wish Scorch good luck. Mostly because hes just a good guy and an asset to CAG, but also because he'll be a good source for GC info. And timely too.
a gamecrazy is opening near me. finally.
Anybody know how to find out this info for sure? Ive had many BB employees tell me "ones coming" but after a year and 1/2 Im starting to believe a Holy Grail store will open up first.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've barely just filled out an application, but I was there the other day trying to see how much Zelda: Ocarina of Time GC would get (For those wondering, it gets $13). I started talking to the employee, I think he was impressed with my knowledge or something, turns out he's the manager.. I ask him if he's hiring, since I can't work at EB (brother is assistant manager).. he kinda gives me the runaround.. kinda like.. "well.. not really.." then I dropped the fact that I worked at EB and he's like.. "Well, we are a bit shortstaffed and I do need part timers.. go on the site and fill out an application".. I went with guessed there yesterday to do some trade-ins.. he was working, didn't mention anything.. I'm going to drop by tomorrow afternoon to do a followup.. hope I get it, that'd be great.. better than working at EB, bleh.

Oh my, if I get it.. this is going to be a great family rivalry!

Im sure you know this but part time is the way to get in good with managers at those kind of places. You come in, do your job well, showing your boss how "expendable" some of his other staff is and volia, you get to pretty much do as you please (within reason) The cool part with all the stores I worked in (its been awhile though, Im old) was PT got the same discounts as the full time (but not as much as managers) Besides, even if ya dont get a discount, you ll probably get along well with the other guys there and they ll hook you up. For me, it was the shrinkwrap machine. Only keyholders could use it (WTF?) Anyway, I got in good with a keyholder, he rewrapped all my toys r us games that were bunk, and off to screw Geffory I went. Ah... I miss not having any morals.

Ah.. well, I have morals. I worked the shrinkwrap machine at EB, shrinkwrapping those N64 games without cases. Burned myself several times, but it was actually quite fun to use.

EB you got some splanin' to do! [-X

Anyway, on topic, someone mentioned this earlier, how can I find out if they are going to build a gamerush, because there are about 40 stores being put in within a 10 mile radius of my house, and I hope so much that at least one is a Gamerush...

EB you got some splanin' to do! Shame on you

No, they don't..? They're shrinkwrapped and sat in a red case that says N64 preowned.. or maybe it's just my store? It's not like they sell them as new or anything.

Lol I got a new GBA game that had saved memory on it lol. My Mom freaked out I dunno why, I was just going to ask for another copy... Never get in the way of a crazed Mom learn that now and it may save your life one day...

Call the stores to see if they have any of them in stock. Usually you'll get a better deal at Gamecrazy if they don't have any of those in stock. As for the hiring process, from what I understand, the store doesn't decide who get hired, the district HQ does.
