I have a gamecube with about 10 games, 1 demo disc and a DS with 6 GBA games and the box for the DS if that matters. I know EBgames (or they did) took systems and games for credit, usually more then cash. What about gamecrazy and gamestop. I'm looking to get a 360 so I was wondering who usually gives the better credit or is it one of those "miles may vary". I live in NY, long island is that might help any I doubt. Thanks though.

ebgames and gamestop are going to give the same amount, since they are the same company now. Have you considered selling the systems on here? You'll get quite a bit more money...

It crossed my mind...but the shipping and the trust. What are the chances someone on here with good feedback wants it. I guess its worth a shot? Plus I'd have no idea where to start at an asking price...besides saying trade for 360 non core.

Trust me, you will get way more for the sell of your games on here or ebay then you would in trade-in credit from GS/EB. Then you can take the cash you make to buy your 360. But if you really are going to stick with a B&M store the place to try for the most credit would be Gamerush.

Ya this is a great site, but it would be the greatest in the world if we didnt have to foot shipping fees and paypal fees. I have sold stuff here before and it works out to be better then selling it at ebgames or gamestop, but the shipping fees and paypal fees really have killed quite a few deals for me.
