Since codename : Big M. has yet to re-appear, I think its time to start forming the task force for this operation.

Obviously we're going to need all the tech know-how and hacking skills we can get when dealing with the FBI. Alarms, intel, surveillance, and traffic light control will all be essential to this mission.

For that reason, we will need none other than the infamous hacker, zewone. The first member of the team.

Obviously we're going to need a team of covert operatives. The people getting their hands dirty and performing the extraction. We need people who are sly as fuck, classy as hell, are able to meld with the shadows, yet aren't afraid of confrontation. No one embodies these traits as well as the enigmatic Brak. He will be leading the extraction team. The second member of the team.

Morning OTT.

Kind of pressed on time right now. Just finished deciding what companies I feel I could fit into after doing some research last night. Now I just have to prepared resumes and other things so when I see them, I'll be prepared (that's kind of if I go to the job fair, due to some recent events). Also, after looking at my resume several times along with seeing even more examples, despite doing well grade wise on my resume (I used a format that worked well), I kind of feel the way I made it hurt my chances a little, so I'm trying to put together a brand new resume unlike any other. One of my friends who finished college the same time I did, found a good way to hide a lack of work experience (basically combined his big projects into that area) so I may do the same (because I did many big projects companies would like to hear, but didn't exactly have it on my resume in any shape or form). Unfortunately, I have no idea if I'll get the resume done by tomorrow afternoon (since I'd have to leave by then).

I also took a look at a sheet my Dad gave me for what the company he worked for had to do for a job fair. Those telling me that if a company tells you to just send your resume online don't really want you, it's true. I read through and it says if you don't feel someone fits your company, just tell them to submit their resume online and do not put it into the main pile. And based on the resume pile, they'll make three stacks of good, okay, and poor resumes. I also found the interview questions my Dad would have to ask college students, so at least that gives me an idea if I get an interview.
Go to the damn job fair, don't let your sister's fuck ups interfere with that shit.
Actually, it isn't just my sister situation. I'm looking for positions or companies which are interested in some sort of electrical design (that's where I heavily specialize in). Too many companies I see while they list my major, are looking for software engineers or networking guys. While I know some software engineering and know some networking, I just lack enough knowledge on those subjects to benefit a company. Right now I wish I could have taken extra classes to give me those skills also (mostly networking). Now I understand I may not get a good position right away, but I'm trying to look for a job that leads me there.

It really comes down to whether I may suit what companies are looking for, and I listed around 10 (from the list of 25) who may. If I see something, I'll definitely go to the fair. If not, I will have to re-consider and look elsewhere.

Speaking of my sister, the reason her screw up is involved in this is because right after the job fair, I have to go with my Dad down to the hearing (well, I won't go to the hearing, sit around in her apartment most likely, but I'll have to listen to the two yelling and so on. In ways I do NOT want to hear the outcome of it). I was kind of looking forward to spending most of my day down at my college campus, talking to old Professors about my situation, going to the job fair, helping out a few friends with project problems, give away some parts to the department, etc., but I guess I'll just make another trip when the snow goes away. Oh well, you can't always have what you want.

The only thing you should be worried about TMK is answering the question about what you've been doing since you graduated.

Anyone have experience with mozilla thunderbird? I installed it last night because i didn't want to both with outlook. I can't find any way of categorizing my email like outlook did.

In outlook i had it set to group my emails by the sender and then keep them in expandable/collapsible groups. In thunderbird it just lists them in a plain view.
The only thing you should be worried about TMK is answering the question about what you've been doing since you graduated.
I will tell them I have been doing various microcontroller programming projects (somewhat true) along with actively searching. I honestly feel they'll be a bit more understanding right now due to the market situation. In reality, I WAS suppose to have 2-3 jobs right when I finished college (one was kind of a back-up intern) and ALL of them fell apart due to layoffs, running low of money, and so on. That's pretty much why I'm in the situation I am now. I didn't have enough of a backup plan since I was busy with Senior Design during the Spring '08 semester (and basically all my time went to Senior design. I BARELY made it through since I had so many project problems. No matter what, that project was a priority because if I did not make a check off, I basically failed the class and had to retake it again).

If companies don't want to buy any of it, then I'll just have to..................(can't say what I'd do on CAG).

EDIT: Right now I want F/T or Intern, whatever, I just need something.

Morning OTT

TMK, if someone asks you what you've been doing while out of school, point them to your CAG blog, or your YouTube channel.

I am working on ways to improve my Facebook profile to make it seem more professional (some companies look).
"I'm going to ______ _______" - TMK
Sounds right. ;)
They keep adding more and more HD DVDs. I wish I had some extra cash to go crazy with that sale at Amazang.
How long is the sale going on? I should be getting my tax money on Thursday. :hot::hot::hot:
