Go to the damn job fair, don't let your sister's

ups interfere with that shit.
Actually, it isn't just my sister situation. I'm looking for positions or companies which are interested in some sort of electrical design (that's where I heavily specialize in). Too many companies I see while they list my major, are looking for software engineers or networking guys. While I know some software engineering and know some networking, I just lack enough knowledge on those subjects to benefit a company. Right now I wish I could have taken extra classes to give me those skills also (mostly networking). Now I understand I may not get a good position right away, but I'm trying to look for a job that leads me there.
It really comes down to whether I may suit what companies are looking for, and I listed around 10 (from the list of 25) who may. If I see something, I'll definitely go to the fair. If not, I will have to re-consider and look elsewhere.
Speaking of my sister, the reason her screw up is involved in this is because right after the job fair, I have to go with my Dad down to the hearing (well, I won't go to the hearing, sit around in her apartment most likely, but I'll have to listen to the two yelling and so on. In ways I do NOT want to hear the outcome of it). I was kind of looking forward to spending most of my day down at my college campus, talking to old Professors about my situation, going to the job fair, helping out a few friends with project problems, give away some parts to the department, etc., but I guess I'll just make another trip when the snow goes away. Oh well, you can't always have what you want.
