Who the hell is HIROKAZU KORE-EDA?

CAGiversary!
I got an invitation to a preview screening of his latest flick. Apparently he has somewhat of a following. Has anyone seen any of his work? Any comments or recommendations? I may just go to this screening if I can get some positive feedback

Thanks

I don’t know much about his other works, but you should definitely not miss the opportunity to see his masterpiece “After Life” (a/k/a “Wonderful Life”). I have a strange story about how I was introduced to the film - I was actually prompted by a bum on a subway to go see the film (he saw me reading the review on a newspaper) and boy was I glad I didn’t miss one of the finest works of Japanese cinema! Don't miss it if they are showing After Life!
