Sorry, but I can't find anything redeeming about that song. My female friends are partially to blame and the fact that it was overplayed like a motherfucker.
I just went back to listen to it after hearing it mentioned, and needless to say I think it is going to be stuck in my head all day. Same thing happens when I listen to "Buddy Holly"

Oh good, my X-plorer will fit in the box my RB guitar came in.

Now to test out that guitar and make sure it works.
say it ain't so > el scorcho > their entire career
QFT

say it ain't so is one of the best songs of the 90s - i can't think of a song that musically sums up that era better... except for maybe smells like teens spirit or anything by radiohead off of the bends and ok computer...
but it's still a goddamn good song to sing to when you're drunk!

Sang "Say it ain't so" on Rock Band, drunk, on new years. The song never sounded better

Heh, it annoys the piss out of me that the Xplorer fits in the big Rock Band box, but the Strat doesn't.

Well, I'm not sure if my guitar was faulty or they made a newer RB guitar model (I think it's a bit of both) but this one is noticeably better.

Both the strum bar and whammy bar are tighter. A lot tighter. The strum bar barely moves now. And the little knob that changes the distortion or whatever is tighter as well, making hard click when moved instead of the soft ones on my launch guitar, so you definitely know when it's changing.

I still don't like the guitar and am better at and enjoy the GH guitars more, but this will do.

My 2nd guitar was definitely better (my first one's strum crapped out after about 10 days). Unfortunately it started to have fret button problems, so I've got another one coming... but it's still on "billing information received" for the 3rd straight day.

I go back and forth between the two guitars. I like my explorer better for fast songs (like the QOTSA song), and the Strat for slower ones.

what the fuck are corn nuts? Nothing on earth should be that hard and edible at the same time. They are a chipped tooth waiting to happen
Mass Effect came in the mail today :bouncy:

Also got the replacement Halo 3 LE discs from MS. Faster turn around than I expected.

The middle page of the ME manual is loose. Is that a common problem? I'm a bit cheesed the seller didn't disclose that in the listing.

Also dude shipped in a plain paper mailer which is pretty shoddy. Didn't get damanged in transit thankfully.
Maybe the dude is like me and never opens the manual, so he didn't know?
While doing it on some pavement, he wishes to donkey punch Rivers.
So he hates Rivers... but why does Pavement bring out this violent side of woohoo?
I see that jkmetal fellow was an OTT'er at some point...was his last threads normal for him or could we assume someone was using his acct and messing with it?

OK, so I decided I'm going to try to learn guitar for the third time. Unfortunately, the Altoids Amp I was working on last year doesn't work so well anymore.

So, I need to find/build another pocket amp, and I also need to figure out the best way to learn...for real, this time.

OTTer? Not quite. He posted and nobody liked him. That was most definitely normal for him.

Yeah, I just played Highway Star and sucked. The Strat sucks for a lot of notes in succession, for me anyway. I don't like it at all. Hopefully my GHIII ships soon so I don't have to use the Strat for too long.

I might keep the Xplorer until Friday when I have a little Rock Band/GH outing with some friends.
never heard of jkmetal. way old otter?
See above.

Did someone on here say they needed a 360 wireless adapter for their PC (frosty maybe?)? I have one that I'm not going to use.
couldn't resist ;)
scooby, how we love thee.

when i was learning how to fall trees, my boss would walk up to me before making the final cut and go "ruh row!" just to fuck with me.

Leave him banned, no loss there.

Will do thanks everyone for the imput.
water bills can be bad?

Aren't they always the most innocuous bill?
Sort of. It becomes an unexpected expense because it's only billed every 6 months... so you get used to not paying anything and then bam. Only worse things are school and property taxes, cause those blindside you once a year. But at least for those, it's covered by escrow. Not quite as bad as renewing your car insurance twice a year, but still... summer period is usually the worst, because summer brings pool maintenence to the picture. :\
Poker Smash?
I dunno, just somethin'. I have points to burn. Might grab some Rock Band DLC.
