Why are the good deals only for HD versions for the games and not the wii?

Im tired of this happening. It already happened with Star wars TFU and Facebreaker, and it's obviously going to happen again. They have some magical deal, such as the buy Star wars TFU, get a $20 gift card on HD consoles ONLY, that makes it cheaper than the wii version that doesn't have a discount. this ALWAYS happens. Why do wii owners get the dirt? Maybe that accounts for lower first day sales on the wii?

Maybe because the 360 and PS3 versions of games are loads better and I have a Wii so you can't call me a Wii hater. It's going to sell what it sells since Wii owners have extremely limited choices in good games so they are going to buy it anyway. That's why the haven't bothered lowering Mario crap and other good games except for the rare coupon

everybody knows first party games hardly go on sale. Im talking about deals on 3rd party games. That never happens on the wii. Plus, in case you haven't noiced, reviews of the PS3/360 version of TRU shows that it's mediocre, and due to motion controls, it is bound to have better gameplay on the wii.

The wii version is going to be a joke. End of story. Also, Wii owners have very little choice in actual games (unless IMAGINE! games are now considered real games), so they will try and screw you ontop of nintendo screwing you with a re-badged gamecube system you bought. Dont like it? Tough. I am getting the HD version, and i own a high end PC, a 360, a PS3 and a Wii. The only wii games im looking forward are Madworld and Wii Sports 2. Otherwise its a major crapfest on the system.

Motion controls is a crappy gimick that doesn't give it better gameplay. If anything the game had going for it was nice graphics, without them then it's garbage. Doesn't matter if it's third party, it has star wars, loads of nerds wanting to be jedi are buying it anyway
 
People buying new games for the Wii are spending $10 less than for a new game on any of the HD consoles-when you put it into this perspective, a Wii's 2 new games vs a PS3/360's 2 new games (1 with coupon 1 without) balance out to even.

The wii version isnt even made by the original team. Motion control is going to be a problem until they can get 1:1 control down.

well graphics don't make a game good, right? in that case, lair would be excellent. How are motion controls garbage? Motion controls on Tiger woods 09 makes for a better experience than just pressing buttons.

As someone who own all 3 console, if I am playing the same game, I rather play the version with the best graphics. Motion control will be a problem until the can get the add on out. Not to say it wont work as RE4 was great. However it does not work well with games like Okami.

You didn't understand did you. I said the only thing the game had coming was good graphics, I never said it was good. Think before posting. Also wow, one game with good controls. There's very little games on the wii with good controls and aren't sports games. You seem like a person with only a Wii so you'll never get it through your head and still keep thinking that everything on the Wii is awesome
 
Umm what? Mario Galaxy got a 25 dollar gc from TRU on day one, I should know since I never even spent mine. I think you are just looking too much into one deal.

Oh and man for a game that is getting 7's you all are acting like it scored a 3 out of 10 :lol:
