I just got three games from GS, and I guess I wasn't aware of this, but when did they change from the white, easy to remove stickers to the dreaded yellow ones that leave residue and stains everywhere??

Why would such a change happen? If anything, EBgames should have taken their stickers!

I noticed this because on one of the games from GS had a white sticker on one side, came off really easily, the other side had the yellow sticker that left paper and residue all over the case.

Because they seem intent on keeping the worst aspects of the two companies in this merger.

You'd think if they keep the crappy GameStop.com website, they would keep the good GameStop stickers. But no, they go with the crappy EBGames stickers.

They're still GS stickers, they're just yellow. It's so the customers won't be confused (this is what some guys from GS told me).

Hm... I think you're right. The second game, the yellow stickers came right off. Maybe the first one was old EB stickers?

holy dumb fuck both their websites suck ass now. rediculous prices, no manual or case, and no more edge.. who is going to come and fill EBGames' place in the market.. some company is could make a ton doing what they used to do so well, but now suck at.

wow that really sucks. i guess i hadn't noticed that ebgames now equals gamestop :( i loved being able to stack discounts at EBgames. damn you all!

Hmmm... hopefully they're just leftover stickers from EB that they're burning through. Hopefully they eventually only have the GOOD, white stickers in the end... *hope hope hope LOVE the Gamestop stickers

Some Stores had old yellow stickers with the bad residue from when GS ran the yellow tag sales. These suck, but had to be gone through. New rolls should remove with ease.

Yeah, people were too stupid to notice that they were in the USED games sections because they did not see the 200 USED signs we have laying around. They also do not notice the word USED printed under the price.

So we changed them to yellow ONLY for the USED games. They are not EB stickers at the Gamestop. We have different label printers anyway.

It will be kinda stupid if they used the old ebgames hard to remove stickers. What's the point? You save save a few cents on stickers when you lose more money man on hours removing the stickers.I remember one employee's told me that the sticker are so hard to remove they keep either add stickers on top of stickers for each price change as result the game case is always litter with nasty yellow stickers

Their website is the horrible "backstock" routine now. I emailed them to ask about the EBEdge card that I just purchased, and believe it or not, I got no response. Does anyone know if they are still taking these in store? No more great deals with 25% off and ebsaver shipping. Guess I'll be sticking to Fleabay.
