Why do the "Go to last unread post" buttons keep disappearing?

Maybe I'm the only one, but those little buttons seem to disappear from time to time.  I'm talking about on the main deals page, just checked both Chrome and Firefox and they are MIA in both.

Those little buttons are so incredibly useful!  If they would just stay put!
